Oppose.

(For the record, had I known that foreign companies own the operations of ANY ports, I would have opposed it then too.)

Support. I never fell for the misleading headlines. Checked it out for myself. Nothing changes basically.

Oppose. But I still like and support President Bush.

SUPPORT!

Always did.

If the Emeratis can run the ports half as well as they run cities like Dubai, it will be great.

I supported it from the start, with the caveat that I might change my mind if something alarming was revealed.

Nothing has been so far. Just the opposite.

At first, I opposed it. However, given that the Saudis own the Baltimore port. The Chinese operate the Los Angeles and Oakland ports. I don't oppose the idea but neither do I support it. I'm undecided.

Oppose. It's too big a political stick to hand our foes, regardless of the actual situation.

I voted in support of the decision.

Initially and for the first few days, I was definitely opposed. But the more I read about it and hear the facts presented, I now am okay with the deal.

I oppose it not on the security issue. I oppose it on the basis that it is just a continuation of the outsourcing of America, British or UAE, no difference. What needs to be checked into is why there are no American companies willing to do this. This puts the whole adventure into the category of 'jobs Americans don't want to do' with the added 'American companies don't want to do'. This is the sad part for America.

My gut reaction was to oppose the deal when I first heard about it. Then I went through a period of undecided while I digested the information. Now I support the deal after listening to both sides of the issue.

Undecided - slightly leaning towards Oppose.

I've read a number of compelling arguments for and against the deal. Still can't quite make up my mind.
