Yes ... and according to Ledeen, all they're waiting for is a perfected missile delivery system before their first test.
Quinn @warroom.com
I have about a dozen left for those in the "Burgh" who wish to show up.
LOL. Don't I know. Barked shins and turned ankles, anything not to hear one word.
Don't leave out Rumsfeld.
Hugh Hewlett and yes, Mark Steyn. Against Sean Hannity, who continues to parrot the disinformational talking points and call everyone else koolaide drinkers...and of course, Anne Coulter.
Hey, if this controversy can lead to UAE opening relations to Israel, something good will have come of it.
While I oppose the opposition to the deal, I'm not beyond seeing that we might get some concessions because of the opposition's shrillness. It's like when you let the crazy cop into the interrogation room, you might end up making the guy clam up and his lawyer will eat you alive, but you might just get lucky and the guy will tell you stuff.
Well, maybe we can get lucky. If we do, it will be simply because DP World is NOT a country, it is a company, and they want to make money, not policy, so they WILL put up with stuff a country wouldn't. In other words, the opposition will gain small success precisely because they are dead wrong.
Ellen Ratner....her brother.....wasn't he involved in something big...i.e. with Clinton???? Maybe having a non-existent flash back....
Steak, Shrimp, and Chocolate -- now -- a little coffee and Grand Marnier??
Wonder if I could get whats-his-name to take me out to dinner tonight???
Maybe a little Omaha Steak House/? (the city not the company )
Don't think so.
huh?
Sean is right about the drilling. I don't know why in this year's SOTU President Bush backed off that one, although VP Cheney in his CPAC speech still said it was a goal of the administration. Probably because it's "stuck on stupid" in the filibuster-prone Senate this year. I agree with Charles Krauthammer, who would not have approved it initially, but now is "with" the deal now that President Bush is going to the region. Still, it's relatively irrelevant until the Congresscritters have their hearings. So, until it's time for a hearing or a decision, exactly what is the topic of discussion? We KNOW about the Saudis, it's a monarchy sitting on top of a radical Wahhabi minority; the UAE, IMHO is different; it's an island state much like Singapore that wants to trade; and the security situation doesn't change. Have I hit all the buttons? Let folks do their jobs, and then we'll talk again, hopefully more informed.
You asked if Sean had changed his mind yet.
Lotta Lotta folks out there that I have a tremendous amount of respect for that are aginst this deal...including the likes of Steve Emerson, who is probably the most informed guy on terrorism we have....
We can only hope.
Go figure. To me.......... Sean is just ....... much less than acceptable as a spokesman for anything important.............. other than a decent steakhouse.
;-)
In fact............. I'll say it right now....... Sean IS .......... nah, can't say it, the girls will be pissed.
;-)
At least he doesn't look like he's anorexic.
LOL, between the phone and the doorbell, I can't keep up.
Exactly as we point out on Rush just judge these guys by their actions, I can't believe this is such a battle.
