PC Annapolis

PC Annapolis Lt. Bryan Black, the Naval Academy instructor who faces a court-martial for using salty language in the presence of a female midshipman, faces a politically correct atmosphere at the Annapolis campus that jeopardizes his right to fair adjudication. That assessment does not come from his friends or attorney, but from the Marine Corps officer who investigated him and testified at a pretrial hearing.

There is a reason why it is called "salty".

"faces a court-martial for using salty language in the presence of a female midshipman"

So there are different standards for men and women? Isn't that sexist?

My son graduated in class of 2000, he said the females were often heard using salty language. The complainers, I would bet are from the Blue sate regions.

So, a female midshipman in the NAVY is offended by salty language. How will she react in a combat situation?

Old traditions given way to "fads" (PC) will sink "this man's Navy" and our military services.

Damnation! What the hell has happened to my Navy? "Salty" language has been used by sailors since Thag the Cromagnon found himself adrift on that log. I knew a boatswain's mate who could cuss in six languages.

If a little language is going to bother these folks, I'd hate to see them in a life-and-death damage control situation.

She'll teach a sensitivity training course to the enemy, of course.

People like her need to grow up. When people tell dirty jokes at work, most of the men usually get offended before I do.

"She'll teach a sensitivity training course to the enemy, of course."

I can see it now...

So, Abdul, how did you feel when you tried to fire an anti-ship missile at the destroyer? I want to ask you make a finger painting that illustrates your emotions...

But another officer, Lt. Cmdr. Michelle Whisenhant, heard about the incident, did her own investigation and reported Lt. Black to headquarters, prompting an investigation.

I can only hope that no combat organization is ever burdened by this delicate flower of feminist outrage. What would she say when some nasty enemy was mean to her (*gasp*)!

This is the PC bullshit that has gutted the Navy I served in for 28 years.

Isn't that sexist?

Then "gentleman", but by my lexicon, is obsolete.

No, a fellow instructor at the Academy, Lt. Cmdr. Michelle Whisenhant, is offended by what Lt. Black said. Midshipman Foxton accepted Black's apology, Whisenhant, pictured, did not. The Superintendent is accommodating Whisenhant's desire to fry Black.

Actually the female accepted Black's apology. It was someone up the chain who wanted to pursue. Wonder what Whisenhant's assignments have been?

Of interest. "Maj. Thielemann said the student accepted Lt. Black's immediate apology. But another officer, Lt. Cmdr. Michelle Whisenhant, heard about the incident, did her own investigation and reported Lt. Black to headquarters, prompting an investigation. "Lieutenant Commander Whisenhant does not like Lieutenant Black," Maj. Thielemann testified. "

"But another officer, Lt. Cmdr. Michelle Whisenhant, heard about the incident, did her own investigation and reported Lt. Black to headquarters, prompting an investigation."

So, the Lieutenant Commander "heard about the incident" and acted upon it. She didn't hear the language in question uttered by Lt. Black and decided to act even when the female midshipman accepted Lt. Black's apology. Oh bloody hell.

Admiral Rempt is a totally PC sup. His changing the words to Blue and Gold showed that. Stuff like this really pisses me off. The academys are supposed to be making warriors not wusses.... Fire him and Bring Back Admiral Ryan!!!

Hes obviously trying to keep the JAGs busy there between this and the Art 32 investignation of the former navy quarterback owens. I would severly doubt this officer can get a fair trial at the academy.

Im sure not all female officers are like that but some intentionally try to use their positions to get back at men who piss them off.
