Judy Baar Topinka: Pro-Homosexual Activist |
As she seeks to become the next governor of Illinois, it is crucial, now more than ever, that Illinois voters understand that Republican gubernatorial candidate Judy Baar Topinka holds extremely liberal values that are contrary to those embraced by the vast majority of Illinois Republicans. In fact, Judy Baar Topinka’s pro-abortion and pro-homosexual positions are in keeping with the Democratic Party Platform—and opposed to the national Republican Party platform to which she would seem to owe allegiance. Consider the following facts:
• Every year, Judy Baar Topinka fields a contingent at the Chicago “Gay Pride” parade in the “Boys Town” area of Chicago. As can be seen from the above video showing footage from the 2005 “Pride” parade, these events feature nudity and lewd public displays—even though young children march in the parade and attend as observers. In 2004, the parade, police simply stood by as two homosexual men engaged in a sex act directly in front of them (the men were showing their contempt for Christian protesters, who were being protected by the police). Topinka’s current website contains nothing about her very enthusiastic “gay” advocacy: funny how her “gay pride” disappears during election season in a Republican primary.

• In her role as Illinois State Treasurer, Topinka arranged for $10 million in taxpayer-subsidized, low-interest loans to fund the “Center on Halsted,” a homosexual “Community Center” constructing a new facility in the “Boys Town” section of Chicago. Topinka was among the politicians--with shovels in hand--who attended the Center’s groundbreaking ceremony. Across the nation, similar “gay” community centers have served as centers for homosexual activism and have hosted highly offensive groups, such as those espousing sadomasochism and advocating homosexuality and gender confusion to young people. • Perhaps the most dangerous activity that the Center on Halsted runs is its “Youth Program,” wherein practicing adult homosexuals “assist” children starting at thirteen years of age to “explore” the possibility that they too, are young homosexuals (or trans-gendered). The youth program—open to people ages 13-24 (i.e., homosexual men)--also offers children “free and confidential AIDS testing” and “workshops” on “safer sex, sexuality, relationships and STD/HIV prevention.” Critics point out that the so-called “counseling” offered by these practicing adult homosexuals is entirely one-sided and serves to confirm impressionable youth in a dangerous lifestyle.
|
Judy Baar Topinka with "Gay Marriage" supporters |
• Beyond “gay youth” programs, the Center on Halsted affiliates with: the radical leftist group Gay Liberation Network, whose leaders protested outside the venerable and respect Moody Church in Chicago a “House of Hate” and which compared the Boy Scouts of America to racist fringe groups; Dignity, a pseudo Catholic organization which embraces pro-homosexual beliefs completely at odds with the teaching of the Catholic Church; the pro-transsexual group Illinois Gender Advocates; and radical groups like PFLAG (Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), which demonize Christians or anyone who publicly adheres to traditional Biblical teachings proscribing homosexual behavior as sinful. Click HERE to view the Center on Halsted’s “Community Links.” • The Center’s website links to (and therefore promotes) Chicago’s “Leather Archives and Museum (LA&M)” in its “Community Resources” section. LA&M proudly displays images and photographs of men and women engaging in various perverse and aberrant homosexual acts that decency dictates not be described on StopTopinka.com. LA&M features a painting by John Larsen titled “The Last Supper, a Gay Perspective.” The painting depicts Christ and the twelve disciples as leather clad homosexuals drinking alcohol (presumably in a “gay” bar). Judas is seen “flipping” Christ “the bird.” Despite this open mocking of Christianity, the Center on Halsted maintains its link to the Leather Archives (because this perverse “museum” is a part of Chicago’s “gay” community).
|
Rick Garcia - Equality Illinois |
• Judy Baar Topinka was and presumably still is a proud ally of Rick Garcia, who heads up Equality Illinois, the states leading homosexual lobby group. Garcia recently called the organizers of the Protect Marriage Illinois effort—to place a referendum on the ballot calling on the General Assembly to pass an amendment protecting marriage as one-man, one-woman—“rank bigots.” (That qualifies Garcia as an anti-religious bigot.) Topinka appeared at Equality Illinois fundraisers (she was once photographed dancing with Garcia at one such event) and supported their goal of passing a “sexual orientation” law in Illinois, which took effect January 1st of this year. However, now that Topinka is running for Governor, there is nothing about “gay rights” on her campaign website and she was strangely absent at the most recent Equality Illinois fundraiser. Judy Baar Topinka knows that her avid support for homosexual and “trans-gender” rights is not widely popular in Illinois, and could especially cost her support from hundreds of thousands of conservatives who vote Republican in Illinois primaries. That’s why she is now hiding her “gay” advocacy from the public. Despite her cowardly obfuscations today, her homosexual activist friends will certainly count her as an important ally if she becomes governor of Illinois.
|
Considering all of the above, again we remind you… These are Judy Baar Topinka’s Values… And again ask you… are they yours? |

The perceived "homosexual agenda" of a candidate is far down my list of things to look for in the Illinois governor's race.

I am NOT going to vote for Topinka!!!!! The GOP in this state is an absolute joke. I am probably going to vote for Brady or Oberwise. When Topinka announced she was running i knew this was just George Ryan in drag. Unfortunately JBT will probably get the nomination and then what a choice that will be, JBT or Blago , this state is hopeless.

The perceived "homosexual agenda" of a candidate is far down my list of things to look for in the Illinois governor's race. She's pro-abortion, too -- if that helps.
And, she's major player in the combine of bi-partisan corruption that rules the state.

Ah, now THAT is high on my list of things to look for in the Illinois governor's race. She's a good ol' boy in the Illinois GOP, and I won't be voting for her because of that.

I love Bill Brady, but I will be voting for Oberweis, another very good candidate.
I only hope that the Gidwitz/Topinka duo split the liberal GOP vote so that a Conservative can win the nod.
I also hope that Brady doesn't wind-up getting 8% of the GOP primary vote on March 21st while Topinka beats Oberweis by 5%. That would really stink.
Anyhow, I hope Bill Brady picks up momentum, but unless he starts showing some life in the polls and fundraising, I'm very happy with Oberweis. Nothing wrong with Jim.
My biggest fear, however, is that the Illinois GOP will continue to be so desperate for victory that they'll all line-up behind Judy Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar Topinka. Remember Bob Kustra? Ugh!!!!!
Also, remember to vote for Sandy Wegman for Lt. Gov.!!!!

Gidget is spending big tv bucks bashing Judas and stil getting no traction.
Let the two of them slug it out while Obie slips in as the only conservative in the race.

I love Bill Brady, but I will be voting for Oberweis Oberweis is a successful businessman and a nice enough person, but I am voting for Senator Brady. He is a seasoned legislator and has voted pro-life, pro-family, pro-businss pro-2nd Amendment for over 12 years .... as compared to Oberweis's osmosis from liberal to conservative during his failed attempts in politics.
The Brady family has also had success in over 21 enterprises. They are out-of-the-box-thinkers and have the imagination and vision that is needed to create jobs opportunities in Illinois.

Ms/Mrs Barr should publicly repudiate, or defend her activist friends if she wants to, and let the chips fall where they may, but if she does neither she should get out of the race for nothing less than rank hypocrisy.
Republicans cannot afford duplicitous leaders (say one thing, do another) - the Democrats have more than enough such people.
