Dear readers:
Yes, I know the site has been down all morning.
Yes, I've contacted the FBI.
I will try to get back to work, but this has been a bit of a distraction.
Thanks for sticking with me.
Hmmm. I have a lib BIL who's a software engineer working in Turkey... Hmmmm.
"Cox Cable forbids you from running anything serveresque things on your machine. They block port 80, 25, and many other worm based ports. So anyone running these kinds of servers are not going to get support from their ISPs because they are violation of their service agreement....snip...
...I believe that most other high speed cable operations have similar clauses, but I could be wrong.... they should though, to prevent these kinds of attacks."
Granted.
Those folks who place wireless routers in their homes for convience, but don't secure them, and those folks whos machines are connected directly to the cable modem without so much as windows firewall, are putting themselves and the net at large at risk. These machines can be compromised without any serverware on them. Additionally, at-risk behaviors (online gaming, ICQ and other Chat, and visiting suspect sites) all contribute to the problem. As another poster stated, the turkish attacks were shifting around among multiple hosts. These could have been unknowingly compromised personal computers just as easily as antagonistic attacking hosts.
Fun stuff until you get "fracked" by cylon raiders!
Cheers,
Top sends
Anyone willing to bet against a connection between Turk Telecom and DU?
The liberal's favored strategy: when your own ideas are bankrupt silence your opposition.
Thx.
Dumba$$, everyone knows it is INTERNETS.

When Islam decides to cleanse the radicals from its system we'll have chances for a true peace.
I look for that to happen shortly after the Democrats clean the criminal element from their cult.
Chris Matthews

If the democrats cleanse the criminal element from their ranks that leaves Joe Lieberman and Zell Miller. ;)
Michelle Malkin, your site could be down for months and I would still stick with you. You are tops.
Regardless of this mosque losing its hat, I find it so ironic that the USA "will spend the $ to rebuild the mosque."
Talk about a money pit and quagmire! I wish we never spent this $400 billion for Iraq. I would have spent $200 billion on a better ABM system, and $200 billion on anti-bioweapon programs. The USA continues to throw money into the deepest black holes known to man.
*FRACKED* I haven't heard that in a decade!!!
But I agree with you 100%, and I tout security to everyone I talk to. But I can feel the vaccuum in their brains sucking my O2 out.
By that standard, Michelle is certainly a friend.
I didn't have a problem today...
I read an article with no problem at 8:30 am.
