Tony Snow is back and better than ever!  Tony's guests and topics on today's Tony Snow Show include:

More Information Needed
Many who object to the port deal are concerned that they were not in the decision-making loop. Should more people be included in decisions of this nature? Maryland Governor Bob Ehrlich (R) weighs in.

The Facts Win
After sifting through mountains of paper and doing acres of research, the port story doesn't seem like a big issue. But Tony will address any concerns.

The Zen of Bode
Why does Bode Miller insist he doesn't care about winning medals at the Olympics? What is he even doing at the Olympics? Fox News Contributor Tiki Barber thinks he knows the answer.

Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony")  and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later.

If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request.
All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

I think it's funny because it sounds so close to the truth of what some of the Dims sound like.

BTW, it appears it's already starting - -Txsleuth reported that Err Amerika says that Poppa and Neil Bush will make lots of $$$s on the deal.

There's a myth that conservative talk radio shows won't allow Democrats or liberals on the air. Our seminar callers have bought it hook, line, and sinker.

"Dubya needs to call the GOP dunderheads to the WH asap and give them a complete briefing, give them an opportunity to come out and say we need time to review the situation, and then let them make an honorable retreat from the brink in 30-60 days."

Exactly!!!

Thanks Tony. Our Commander-in-Chief doesn't look good with tire-tracks on his forehead. And the guy in the Administration who has the power to fix it is the guy you're going to talk to, Karl Rove, who I admire.

This is too important to let pride stand in the way.

Absolutely, but that fact seems to be of no help at all with the usual suspects, including that idiot, Lindsey Graham, who was one of the first to say that we were "outsourcing" our port security.

The UAE are our friends now. A few years ago, I understand that they were not our friends. Maybe they will and maybe they won't stay our friends. They are after all, muslims. How friendly are they going to be if we have to intervene in Iran? I wonder how muslims will stick together in a struggle to the death with the infidels?

As far as Schumer and other dems go..they have finally figured out that that we really do have a lethal enemy and what is important to most Americans is that they are not going to get blown up by a car bomber while they shop at the local mall. This dustup over the ports is a once in a lifetime gift from the R's to the D's. It has given Schumer et al a way to save their sorry asses both physically and politically.....

An Old friend of mine told me that the UAR was the only country in the Middle East that he'd return to. To use his terminology, they nearly acted like "white people."

Hi, PTD. Nice to be on the same side this morning. 8)

It is all about communications. If you let others define the terms of a discussion [i.e. "domestic wiretapping" or "port security"] then your discussion is already headed for failure. This WH does not normally respond to lies and misstatements and it almost always comes back to bite them.

Your ignorance of the history of the UAE and it's ties to terrorism is unbelievable, but by all means delude yourself in thinking they are our dear friends.

Warner: The president's leadership deserves our trust and surely they would not sell our security short and should be treated respectfully. Let's not make a judgment until we reach all the facts.

Ah, yes, the problems with having to follow the thread in sono mode! Unfortunately it's almost impossible to keep up with some of the really fast moving threads.....I'm thinking of taking up speed reading! But, am grateful to sono for inventing the "lurkin & workin" button on the computer....it makes FReeping possible at work! (Hi, sono! Thanks again!) ;>)
