Well Tommy Franks says they are our best friends in the Arab world and that is good enough for me. They had ties to terrorism but now they fear it as we do because the terrorists want to depose them too. The past is the past, they are our friends now. You wanna take the 100 million they pledged for the Katrina victims and throw it back in their faces. Think! Use your noggin!

The UAE are our friends and this whole thing is a phoney issue. It is nonsense and nothing more than the Democrats trying to run to the right of Bush. Most GOP commentators see that now. Because the public is so ignorant of the matter and had a knee jerk reaction against it, the GOP politicians have to PRETEND like they are concerned but they know the deal is okay and it will go through.

The deal will go through and it better or we are screwed without any friends in the Muslim world because we will have shown ourselves to be foolish, kneejerk paranioid weaklings who can't be counted on.
