No. Muslims don't go into the motel business. The folks who run the motels are Hindus from Guajarat, NOT Muslims.

Not the motels. Motels are mostly owned by Hindus. My in-laws have a restaurant in an Indian motel in LA, not far from Ft. Polk.

Mainly Indians or Hindu.... They mostly take the last name of Patel which means 'inn keeper' in their society or so I'm told. I know some of the locals here use that name.
