Use ammo beginning with .4 I'd stay away from the .4 mm. Folks just tend to say "Ouch, stop that!" when hit with it.

He must have been a pretty bad shot if he couldn't hit Oregon.

Be very careful with shot placement when the person you want to shoot is on top of the person you don't want to shoot and there's a struggle going on.

In a civilian situation, two mid; one high. Since the interloper was full civilian, he figured on four rounds midsection. Then he dumped the brain compartment. Not a bad decision on the civilian's part. If you empty the offenders brain compartment with the first round(s), it does not look good. Just sayin'.

He must have been a pretty bad shot if he couldn't hit Oregon. From New Orleans?

Doesn't make sense does it? 4 rounds in the torso with a .45????
He had to have been pumped up on drugs. Some really big time stuff. Contrary to what people seem to think, a .45 is not a death-ray. People who do not wish to be stopped can continue to function for 15 seconds or so even after complete loss of cardiac function. This is because there is enough chemical energy present in the brain to maintain consciousness for that long even without any circulation at all. If the heart is still beating, it requires a loss of about a quarter of total blood volume before the victim starts to loose consciousness, and that takes a while. Nothing short of major CNS damage is going to absolutely guarantee immediate incapacitation.

According to Col. Greg Phares, "[Mr. Stevens] orders Mr. Temple to stop and get off the officer. The verbal commands are ignored and Mr. Stevens fires four shots, all of which struck Mr. Temple."Can't believe someone hasn't already said it. This is what WE mean by "gun control."

Is the .45 GAP cartridge diferent from the .45CAP? Slightly. The Glock comes in both.
I'm just being a wise guy though. I've already posted this article on another board infested with the "1911 is da bomb" guys. Wanna see if their head really will explode.

Nothing short of major CNS damage is going to absolutely guarantee immediate incapacitation. To clarify: Central Nervous System. Seperation of the brain stem is the only measure certain to end the threat. What I call vacating the noggin.
