Is Bode Miller the biggest bust in US Olympics history or what? The guy had two medals four years ago and he has done nothing this year, after winning the world championship last year. The media boosted him to no end (Time, Newsweek) by plunking him on the covers of their mags. Every newspaper had features on him. His mug is all over the Tv with ads about Bodeisms and all this other crap. He looks like he could care less about winning a medal or anything. There are people who would practically kill to get on the US team, but this guy just doesn't have his head on straight. A lot of wasted talent there. Talk about a big dud.

Hope you feel better? I hurt myself at the gym this morning and am pretty drugged up with a muscle relaxant.
Does anyone know what happened to the female ice dancer who lost her grip on her partner's arm and fell to the ice last night around 11 ish? She limped off the ice, her partner carried her off the sitting area where they wait for their scores and then she was taken to the hospital on a stretcher.

Anyone know what the curling score is? Geez, it's President's Day, I should be home in my pajamas watching this, not cubicle bound.

USA lost to Canada in the last frame 8-6. Still going to the medal round though.

Eurosport will be going live on the radio for ice dance finals at 1:00 PM Eastern, rest of the thread should be mega spoiler laden (warning) http://www.eurosport.com

Thanks for the update. I found myself watching a lot of curling this Olympics. It was good background-tv while I sorted tax stuff.
I think our guys have a great shot at the gold, women, maybe not as much. Plus our crisp white uniforms look better than anyone elses.

Haven't heard anything since watching her being loaded into an ambulance. She really hit the ice hard! It was really bizarre what happened last night with the ice dancing. When my wife and I turned it on, we watched 3 out of 4 couples hit the ice. You seldom see anybody hit the ice and if so maybe 1 couple, but 3 out of 4. I doubt you will ever see that happen again. Really bizarre!!

I literally burst into tears when she fell, thinking if she broke her hip, her career would probably be over. All that training to have this happen...
