France arrests gang suspected in killing of Parisian Jew By , Haaretz Correspondent
PARIS - The French police arrested late Thursday night most of the members of the gang that abducted, tortured and murdered Ilan Halimi, a 23-year-old Jew from Paris.
Hundreds of SWAT officers raided apartments in Bagneux and arrested 12 people. Another suspect was arrested in Belgium.
"They acted with indescribable cruelty," the judiciary police chief leading the investigation said. "They kept him naked and tied up for weeks. They cut him and in the end poured flammable liquid on him and set him alight."

It's just like the Australian beach riots. If white males were involved, they would be branded skinheads and their pictures and videos of their arrest would be plastered in every MSM newspaper around the world... but, if the ROP is involved, then the MSM must be sensitive and not cause any social instability - we will never even know their names.

I looked up some other media sources, who have details on the story.
In Le Monde, it is suggested that the murder might have political/anti-Semitic overtones, as the pictures taken by the kidnappers might look like imitiations of the way that prisoners were nude and hooded in Abu Ghraib.
However, other news sources suggested that the gang had previously lured and attacked young men who were not Jewish, and so appear to have an ordinary criminal intent.
One thing I find very strange - each news report says that a leader of the gang lives in Brussels, and a warrant has been put out for this person. But no name is mentioned, no picture is circulated ... why not? The mention of Brussels is grim - a long history of organised sexual sadism and kidnappings for the porn industry, linked to police corruption.
I would like to know the name of the Brussels character.
A third person, named as 24 year old Murielle Izouard is about to be charged. Audrey Lorleach is described by French journalists as a pretty young blonde woman - no description yet of Murielle.
Police are seaching for Youssef Fofana, a leader in the kidnapping, and suspect in many similar crimes. He is of African appearance - his picture is in some of the papers.
It is strange that the media are keeping up this "no names no pack drill" attitude. I have just been through a whole lot more sources, and do not find the name of the Brussels character, who is "wanted" (so, let us help find him ... or her). Also, no background yet on those who are to be charged.

Only for jews, and only carried out by Muslims. The liberals of France have surrendered on state-administered death penalties for criminals.

Lorleach is reported to have provided the investigators with "significant" information... claimed she had got involved because she was "in love with one of the gang members" now being held. She is said to have told police she picked up young men but did not know what then happened to them. ... The third person facing charges is Almane Diallo, a moneylender of African origin ...
France still has the death penalty, but it is no longer in use. The method is beheading.
The last woman guillioted in France was in the 1940s.
The last person executed was a man in Paris in the late 1970s. He was a Morrocan immigrant who had tortured his French girlfriend to death. Good riddance.
Every time there is an horrific murder like this, in France, people start wondering if Dr Guillotine's good machine shouldn't be set running again. But the EU does not allow the death penalty.
