I looked all over the page link you posted in this thread and there is no story pertaining to Crow and/or Armstrong.

Let me guess...you're one of those folks who HAS to have the last word...HAS to be the one who's right...

He already is right. This isn't a matter of opinion where the "last word" carries some mythical weight.

Look, you were stomped on by probably a dozen people on this thread, why don't you just slink away and nurse your wounds already instead of continuing to prove your militant ignorance?

Based on your completely fallacious understanding of the Armstrong family story, your tag line is perfect. For you.

I could be wrong, but I think Armstrong did some campaiging for Kerry. I know that Kerry wore his yellow Armstrong bracelet on the campaign trial all the time.

Ha
Kinda reminds me of my first wife.
She said: "its either me or that damn Harley"
I didn't miss her at all.
I sure did enjoy the hell out of my HOG.

Oh Boy I'm first to say, BUSH'S FAULT!

We need to establish a rating system to catalog the level of absurdity and degree of non-nexus in "Bush's fault' claims. Then we can just sort of sit in the virtual audience holding up cards with the appropriate rating. Based on a 1 to 10 index, this one'd go right up there with Sean Penn blaming him for Penn's smoking problem. I'd say, somewhere around a 9.8.

Come to think of it, we could call it the "Bush's Fault 'Dex". That'll provide us with an easy to remember three letter abbreviation.

"Armstrong left his wife after all she had done to help him with his cancer and his career. Shame on Armstrong! "

I hope I simply missed the sarcasm code when you posted this... 'cause this statement has been TOTALLY proven WRONG long before you posted it...

Yeah, a mutual divorce is a terrible thing.

There's a morning radio show in KC that I very rarely listen to, but there was something on the station that I normally do listen to that I wasn't interested in, so I switched over. It was the day after Valentines day (I think), and they were interviewing this woman. It seems that she's been married for some time, and had been having an affair with a married man for quite a while. She said that they both felt that each other completed their lives, so they were going to tell their spouse that they'd met someone else, and were leaving, then would meet each other for a romantic weekend at a hotel.

Well, it seems that the guy wasn't quite truthful with her (ya think? After all, he was married and having an affair? Him, tell a lie? Who-da-thunk-it?) It turned out that he never informed his wife about the affair, and I guess he's been ducking her calls ever since.

I'm happy to say that most of the callers into the radio show said that she got what she deserved (she DID tell her husband that she was having an affair & was leaving him), and that the only down side to the story was that he wasn't getting screwed over as well.

Mark

Armstrong left his wife after all she had done to help him with his cancer and his career. Shame on Armstrong!

More stupidity. Read the thread before you embarass yourself further.

I think he's preparing to run for political office and current wife is an inconvenience.

He doesn't HAVE a current wife, Einstein.

Armstrong is no right-wing extremist. He describes himself as "middle to Left" (see more from the article below). This is just another indication of how "liberalism" has been overtaken and overwhelmed by hard left extremism, and the inability of leftists to tolerate even mild and moderate disassociation from their phony, facile, feckless moral posturings, seething hatreds, and insane conspiracy rants.
In an interview with the London Times, Armstrong described Crow's politics as "way out Left" and said that it was hard to meet Bush and not like him.

But Armstrong's politics aren't exactly conservative. He said that his politics are "middle to Left." He is "against mixing up State and Church, not keen on guns [and] pro-women's right to choose."

In January 2006, the Ritz-Carlton hired Crow to perform at the opening of its 60th hotel, located on Grand Cayman. Along with her songs she let loose with some scorn for the president.

Crow told the N.Y. Daily News that, like his father, Bush has sought to turn America into "an imperial power and create strongholds over oil-heavy countries in order for us to control and manipulate them."

There ya go, Lance, sound off like you got a pair.

Kind of ironic, considering he had testicular cancer!!!

LOL. I really only read the Lance Armstrong threads to see how many people continue to spout the same tired stuff that they overheard on the subway going to work.

And only one person (through 60 posts or so) has said that she was in it for his money, given that she most likely has a ton more than him (rock stars tend to make a bit more than bicycle riders).

And really who cares to go in depth about it and pass judgement? They broke up boyfriend/girlfriend. He was a bike hero and I think she was a singer. Vaguely interesting. Kinda like the VP Cheney's incident last week. It does not leave a punctuation mark in my life.

And you would be right (about being wrong), he did no campaigning for Kerry. Although Kerry kinda invited himself along on the Tour for a while.

Armstrong is not a political animal. He made a statement once that all the money spent on the Iraq war could better be spent on cancer research, but that is about as close as he's gotten to political speech. His ride with Bush at Crawford was more for securing funds for cancer research and getting a deal for the Discovery Channel.

He may very well be a flaming liberal, but he very much keeps it to himself.

I agree. Self centered IMO. But of course this latest action helps his reputation.

I still wonder at men who find ugly, but famous crows attractive though...

In the last 20 minutes I have made over 55 decisions, performed over 100 tasks, communicated with 5 people, bathed, ate and smoked a cigarette...all without thinking of what's their names...What or who were we talking about?
