[history]
Leadership: What possesses a former vice president of the U.S. to travel to the birthplace of Islamist terrorism and denounce his country? Only a special breed of demons, apparently, can explain Al Gore.
The chief demon, of course, surely must be Gore's continuing quest for the presidency. Embittered he may well be by his loss of the highest office six years ago. But showing such supreme disloyalty to his country, as he did in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, cannot be condoned as an honorable means of pursuing the prize once more.

Reminds me of his book prior to the 1992 elections,
Earth in the Balance. I only read some of the reviews, but what
really sticks in my mind is that the Clinton/Gore campaign committee had to come up with responses to the egregious
lies and errors in the book.
Algor in the Balance: Stupidity, Greed, Treason, or Just Plain Nastiness? Or is Algor Mortis assuming room temperature
while still being alive to torment us?

Gay - girly man -- is there a difference? He looks like an aging Hollywood "star" who has had too many (take your pick here:
a) drugs
b) booze
c) illusions of grandeur
d) all of the above

I can't believe our state of Tn. produced this piece of raucous, pugnacious, proportionate, compost, levity, and epoch
of a human being. Some where the gene pool got contaminated, I don't believe he is from earth, he doesn't show human examples, other than shi**ng on America.

Al Gore is following the diplomatic footsteps of Jimmy Carter. The Nobel committee has been alerted.

Tipper = Hillary lite (or heavy ) . I'll never forget how Tipper tried to stick her big fat nose into regulating the music industry . The Klintons and Gorons just can't leave anything alone ....

Enlighten me. They might hate and fear the Dick Cheney who is Vice President, but why do they fear he would run for President? Under what scenario do you believe that Cheney (whom I admire, but whom most of the public appears not to admire) WOULD BE ELECTED IF HE DID RUN?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. My parent's generation has Jimmuh, and mine (Gen X) has this jag*ff.
If there is a silver lining to Al though, it's that unlike Jimmuh's soft-spoken, aww shucks, habitat for a world community crap that might attract some (ignorants), Gore is an open book and we know exactly what we're gonna get before he opens his fat f@%&in' mouth.

You can add his wife Tipper (of PMRC fame) to the list too, because I was a "Reagan man" at age 15, but I remember her and the dems being the only ones who wanted to police the music I loved - and still do. Go figure.

I don't want to imply that Mister Gore went a tad overboard for the photo, however he's registering somewhere between Mimi and Tammy Faye Bakker on the make-up-o-meter.
I seem to recall Mister Gore's first debate with (now) President George W. Bush. Wasn't he made up to look like Ronald Reagan? (He certainly wasn't up to the part.)
