"So according to you, everyone who listens to Savage is a stupid degenerate who enjoys watching fat chicks fight."

Until they're on the same side of some future issue, in which case Savage's IQ will jump 50 points and the fightin' fatties will be banished to Springer until they're politically useful again. Savage gets on my nerves. He strikes me as more than a bit unhinged. But, that doesn't make him always wrong.

You're right, a guess we should split the vote and let the Democrats have the country back.

So long as the leaders of the Republican Party remember that it is the conservatives that make or break them, they will be okay. And it is no mystery to me what Schumer is up to.

"If they don't even feel the need to come out and support their actions and policies, and fight back against the merciless slander the left throws at them, why should I spend my time, for free, to do it?"

Maybe because you are a Patriot and love your country. You know what the alternative would bring.

I agree we need a PROACTIVE PRESS in the Whitehouse!

Can you try, just try to explain your position without personal attacks? So far, everyone who is presenting facts according to you is stupid, ignorant, bushbot, but yet, you have yet to post any verifiable facts. If you have facts, other than insults, I'd appreciate that information.

It's simple. If the Repubs want back in. They got to do two major things. Secure our borders. No more talk about a guest worker program because we all know what that is and its a joke. Secondly, no more deals like this one and Unesco because it makes our intervention in Iraq looked stupid. How can you say you are for National Security and hand over 6 major ports to a country where I believe they were rioting recently over cartoons?

Didn't you hear Charlie Wrangel on todays Sean Hannity show?

He has already joined several other legislators in drafting the request to sanction an inquiry for impeachment. He listed the charges, and there are many. This is no trivial matter! They are dead serious and we need to realize it!

It gets much more specific than that, of course. There is a whole science to it these days.

You have the facts of the proposed buyout correct. Thank you for a rational contribution to this emotional topic.

I concur with your conclusions about the real effects of the buyout. We all realize the perception of the buyout concerning national security will carry the greatest weight in this case. Logical or not, we will never convince the majority of Americans and their representatives in Congress differently.

As a member of management for a Fortune 500 petrochemical company, I had personal experience with a similar acquisition when our former USA company was purchased in the 1990’s by a consortium controlled by the Kuwaitis. There was no change (or “infiltration”) by the Kuwaitis in operation, policies, security, or personnel; absolutely none even after ten years. Other than references to the Kuwaitis in the annual report, we never knew they existed. Many of these acquisitions by Arab interests are simply financial vehicles to invest their oil revenues, and they have zero interest in the inner workings and management of the companies they acquire.

So if the Republicans don't acquiesce to your demands you will vote for who???? A Democrat? .... and they will do what you want because???? ...???

Do you really think they will be a better choice for accomplishing your goals? Have they ever been?

I don't understand your reasoning.

"If there is a terrorist out there looking to do harm to the U.S. by shipping some dangerous cargo through these ports, there isn't a damn thing he could do with a UAE-owned company running that terminal that he couldn't do already." Exactly right.

And all you have to do is get the ship into the port. You never have to unload it to do major damage.

Yes, same scenario both before and after this purchase.
