Savage has high ratings for the same reason that the Jerry Springer show has high ratings. Some people actually believe his screech, and some listen for the entertainment value of listening to a nut go off on another nut on the air. Just like people who watch Springer hoping two fat chicks will come to blows. Who doesn't want to see that? Some people slow down to look at car wrecks too. Savage understand that. But he is not a true conservative. I don't believe him for a second.

this is an example of how the permanent DC beauracrats, that these agencies are infested with, operate.

Give me the links that says things 'will' change.

There are rules and regulation that pertain to anyone doing business with the ports. Look them up. You'll learn to discern what is factual and what is not by doing the research yourself.

A company is buying another company which has been doing business with the US ports for years. No more, no less.

Thank you for your informative posts.

Thanks for sticking to you guns. I have an issue with who runs our nation's ports and how they do it...but it concerns more than what anyone is talking about today.

I have listened to Savage on about five occasions. I found him to be at times reasonable and at other times - exactly what you have said - sleazy in the same way Jerry Springer is. I really get a headache when I try to listen to him, so I don't bother any more.

I don't know the entire issue, so I've been reading this thread to gain knowledge before I stick my foot in my mouth. Unlike those against this, he gave very good facts and information. I especially liked the analogy someone posted earlier about selling office space to a new company, but not selling the building.

Savage understand that.

He does know his market well and he is a bright guy. He does go overboard on many things and I am sure that it is intentional. Then again, he does bring up a lot of good points and does say things that other shows won't. So many of the other shows are just lame mouthpieces for whatever administration they support.

All they did was BUY the company

And the communist Chinese own the companies that control both ends of the Panama Canal, thanks to Carter. Is that cool with you too, or is it different depending on the (R) or (D) next to the president's name?

I listen to Savage on occasion. Usually when I am in my truck and need something blaring in my ears to keep me awake.

Savage is NUMBER 3 in America. So according to you, everyone who listens to Savage is a stupid degenerate who enjoys watching fat chicks fight. Uhmmm, OK

That's right, Carter ceeded the Panama Canal and now China owns. Unesco, another Bush deal, almost went to the Chinese until awake Americans said no you dont.

Yes, it is fine with me. The Chinese owning those companies wont prevent us from blowing them to hell if we need to, now will it?

I swear, if some of you knew how many foreign owned companies are right now operating in the U.S., you might lose your lunch! Or, how many ships under foreign registration enter ports in the U.S. every damn day?

You're right, a guess we should split the vote and let the Democrats have the country back.

By the way, since when has Chuck Schumer ever been a proponent of any conservative cause. He is and always will be a Trojan Horse. His every move is calculated and his only desire is to see the Republican party break up. Thanks to people like Savage and those who think like him.

Schumer's opposition to the port management sale is simply another ruse to make Republicans look bad. He can only see as far ahead as this November. Later, if the Democrats get a majority back in both the House and Senate, I can sum it up in one word.....Impeachment.

Mike, you know it is just incredible. When we simply ask for accuracy and truth to be found before deciding what should be done, we are branded as being for this sale and thus "the enemy". I am shocked at how easily some are ready to hate, pounce, and blame.

You are absolutely right in your quest of the truth!
