I hate it when the Dems do something I agree with. Thankfully its not very often.

I hate it when Hillary Clinton is the most politically astute person around. You will never hear a speech or debate during her presidential campaign where she fails to point out that she was the first to sponsor this. this immediately becomes her primary home security credential.

That is what the Dubai port story is about. Chucky Schumer and his insane Clown Posse are pushing this story for two reasons. It gives them an excuse to posture as being to the right of the White House on National Security while actually doing NOTHING meaningful about National Security. The Port Operations company owners have ZERO role in Port Security. It's a complete meaningless stupid gesture by do nothing Democrat Senators for Propaganda reasons. Then it sets up the Democrats to push for nationalizing the Port Operations just like they did the Baggage Screener and add thousands of new members to the Govt Union rolls. Just dumb for "Conservatives" to be pushing Chucky Schumers PR attack line for him.

Took the words out of my mouth.
The Dims must be reading the old Republican play book.
I can guarantee you that the new Republican play book of the last couple of years is lacking in concern for many of the things I deem important like immigration.

Okay, I need to ask a silly question. If this outfit in Dubai doesn't buy the ports, who will? Hillary? Are we going to do a FReepathon and buy them ourselves?
Here you have a seller and no American buyers. It's not like they can pack up the piers and take them back to sandland.

I hate this too. But, I already blasted W over it in an email. And if the Dems can get this through, so be it. It actually is a good bill.

Republicans are suffering a bad loss here on this, being on the wrong side.
I agree with the Democrats here.

Bush MUST get ahead of this thing and kill the deal. The longer it goes on them ore it's going to hurt him and the Pubbies. On this one the DemonRats have effectively out flanked him to the right and taken the high ground.

Same here!... but STUPIDITY deserves to be treated this way. It scares the hell out of me, to think that someone on the Republican side can be so incredibly dumb!... even if this company is run by the "Pope" himself... The security of OUR ports, should be in U.S. hands. PERIOD!
