That's why it's cold, because there are no clouds -- to trap the heat in the atmosphere -- of the sun during the day. :)

It would be fun if in the final round they let eight boarders make the run! Wooo Hooo.

I make disparaging comments about things which I think are poisonous to our culture. We are not amused by Weir.

Believe you me, when I pulled off on the shoulder today, I was counting the dents I heard, until it just sounded like I was inside the middle of a jiffy-pop popper, and I lost count.

It was 50 / 55 degrees here in Boston. All the snow from the weekend snow storm is gone. But tomorrow and this weekend big plunge in temp. Nothing like 10 below though.
Spring cant get here soon enough.
To: Miss Marple
You should be getting the storms we had here late this afternoon...we had torando warnings....

My dad came over this morning and had coffee with me, and we were talking about the Olympics and I asked him if he had seen that Johnny Weir, and dad goes "Who?", and I said, you know, the doofus who has his eyebrows plucked, and he goes "Oh! That weird looking guy!"

Yes and I think I might gladly trade 10-15 degrees for some sun :)

That 4-guy snowboard cross is one of the dumbest "Olympic" sports I've ever seen. The guy that gets in front stays in front and wins.
The three guys in the back get to jostle each other till two of them take a spill. Everyone watches breathlessly to see the crashes, because the race itself is dumb, dumb, dumber.
Pretty soon snow-shoveling will be a winter Olympic sport.

Men's skating up next. This should be fun for some and excruciating for others. My hope is that Weir runs his mascara. Drama Queen that he is.
To: BigSkyFreeper
And why should I be nice about someone who already has made nasty comments about Republicans.
I am rooting for the Russian, the Japanese, and the Swiss. I hope Weir scores a big zero!

I'm going to make hubby watch the men's skating with me. I expect he'll fall asleep within minutes.
Earlier today I was searching ESPN for news of the men's skating finals, and I found a link to something like "Model Olympians". There are 40 or so pics of Olympians. One is of Michelle Kwan, and it reminded me of John Kerry's daughter in France. I was a little shocked. I would post the link, but I'm too lazy.

LOL...........So we're watching to see who comes in second?
I don't care for the clothes or the lingo that goes with it. But that's just me.
