Actually, rent got expensive like you wouldn't believe. Extremely low supply. Demand shrunk too, but not as fast. Lotta out-of-town cleanup and construction crews and such.

As Rush Limbaugh has said, if public housing is so wonderful, why don't liberal activists like Jihad Cindy volunteer to live in them? And where's this notion the government is obligated to build "affordable housing" come from? The irony is that its liberal policies that have made housing unaffordable for most Americans - not that Jihad Cindy and her ilk will ever acknowledge it.

The irony of her demanding that the poor be moved back into slums is completely lost on this dimwitted bitch.

Yeah she created some trouble right after the hurricane esp at their Camp casey up in COvington LA which I still cant believe made the news. Baicaly taking red cross supplies and setting up on their own camp and spreading rumors that the locals were about to attack the The National Guard armory. lol

I thought Cuba was utopia model that lefties wanted to flock to? They bluffed their exodus to Canada as well. they are a bunch of hypocrites.

Mean while at the important forum well she was discussing her stance at LSU we had Cindy doing this
http://paul2.net/
To: bayourant
a little background on the above pic
"Cindy Sheehan and Col. David Couvillon participated in a forum today (Monday) from 11:30-12:30 at the Mass Communications Journalism building Holliday Forum discussing their two views on the War in Iraq. Shari Yazbeck along with other mothers whose sons and daughters are serving in the armed forces. The photograph of two soldiers includes Capt. Travis Douget and Capt. John Champy, who happens to have served with Cindys son Casey in the same battilion. Undoubtably, Champy having served with Casey believes that Casey would not have wanted his mother to act in this manner. My personal favorite photograph is the very last one shown in this post"

'Peace mom' demands affordable housing in New Orleans Hey Cindy, I've got one thing to say: "Peace on you!"
To: beaversmom
I pray that she keeps this up right up to the midterm elections. Every minute she talks is another vote for Republicans.
Thank you God for Cindy and her insane little brain.

Shouldn't she use her super powers to fight something that irritates us all, like AOL disks. We get so many, we take 'em to the trap range. The range master thinks it's pretty funny.

I'd like to use her for target practice myself.Kerry would be my first choice. Carter, and the rest of those people who hate this country.

She helps support my theory that there is limited room for leftist "gods of the moment". Kind of like boy bands, too many at the same time saturates the market.
Remember liberal "stars" like Eric Alterman, Scott Ritter, Paul ONeill, David Brock, and many others. They wrote books, made major appearances, and were touted as the second coming of our forefathers to the left. For months they were the only names on lips the Anti Americans, but are now not even trivia questions. Even Michael Moore gets little press these days. It's not just that their fifteen minutes are over, they never should have had them in the first place.

Hey, I thought she was going to run against Senator Feinstein, not Mr. Nagin
To: ferri
someone is paying her. she is being used, and doesn't know it.
To: beaversmom
Cindy is trying to become the new Jesse Jackson. Making demands and hogging the spotlight.
