Some things stick. Gerry Ford had physically stumbled only once or twice in public when he became, officially, The Stumbler. what I find troubling, is that the news, TV, radio, newspaper, NEVER states this shooting as being accidental????
However when something like an actual murder happens, they are very careful to use the word alleged, suspect, whatever.
All she is about now is insulting Bush, sowing division within Republician and administration ranks, and posing as an "expert" on television.

Just one question: Do these "journalists" realize that Pres. Bush doesn't get to run again in 2008?
I have never in my life seen so many people fixated on one man (who has just over two years left in office), to the exclusion of planning for the future. It's nuts, I tell ya.
I think that if Dick Cheney got the reputation as a Killing Machine, he'd be down with that...
And who just has to be the first to suggest it but Peggy Noonan.
If I had to guess who would be piling on later this week, her name was at the top of the list. I gave her until Friday. LOL
I can safely say that after reading the entire article,the best I could come with is"the ramblings of a wanabee or a usedtobe".

If Bush gets rid of Cheney, then Bush is truely the big government, socially soft hearted liberal I think he is.
Her claptrap about the Coretta King funeral, now this.
She calls Cheney a "hate magnet" .............. a magnet attracts. Dick Cheney does not attract or pull in hate, hate is thrown at him, G.W., and Republicans in general.
Peggy Noonan is now a rotten, weak thinker.
Bush has no authority to replace Cheney. This is BS.
I used to have a decent amount of respect for him. I considered him a rather pleasant guy. But ........ the last two nights he has boisterously told his audience and the viewing public that Dick Cheney shot Mr. Whittington in the face because he was tired of Mr. Whittington making jokes about his lesbian daughter.
I had never heard anything so vile as that, and it was from a guy who I had thought was somewhat of a gentleman. This was much worse than Kerry awkwardly trying to slip the "lesbian daughter" thing in at the Presidential debate.
Shouldn't be too difficult.

She is only doing what 'has been' celebrity and ex movie stars do..they will do and say anything to be noticed again. It's an old trick and it works. She will start getting gigs on all the talk shows where she can backtrack on all her remarks but she be back in the spotlight where her ego will be reinflated and she will feel relevant again.
It is a sad fact about these 'star struck' people, they can not accept the fact that life is passing them by and anonymity is a bitter enemy of an empty life.
Damn, looks like Peggy has a little Ann Coulter envy going on.
