that's so true - if you can't make fun about your superiors they probably are self rightious and incompetent.
In satire and jokes lies a disarming form of criticism that comes right from the base of the society. Any leader should have a look at how he is parodized - it's a form of feedback you don't get from your surrounding 'admirers'.
