Taz's Bourbon Balls.
3 Cups of ground Vanilla Wafers
1 cup of ground nut meats ( I prefer pecan)
2 cups of powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbs of cocoa (optional)
1/2 cup of brandy, bourbon, or rum ( pick one, not all of them)
Mix well.
Using a melon baller mold into large grape sized balls.
Dust with powdered sugar and store in airtight container
Or
4 0z of semisweet chocolate bits and
4 oz of butter.
Slowly bring chocolate to melting stirring constantly, add butter 1 tbs at a time until chocolate is smooth but coats the back of the spoon thickly.It should be glossy appearing.
Dip bourbon balls in chocolate..Let them set up on waxed paper and then store in airtight container.
Look LUV...no heat (unless you want them chocolate coated..)
Wow! Those sound awesome...and no cooking. I think I have found a recipe that I can do! LOL! I think I gained a pound just reading the ingredients! :o)
