Yeah, our recipe cards were made for 100 rations (portions) each. I still have my note book from the Bakeshop in Iceland, broke down for 500 to 800 rations.
Anybody up to mixin' up some sweetdough to make 800 sweet rolls for breakfast???

Look at the difference between what you posted & my recipe. Yours is almost what we served in the Navy, except that we used butter instead of fat.

We didn't "sift" the flour. We put the flour, along with all the dry stuff, let the mixer do it's thing, then start adding in the wet ingredients.
