Oh -- great idea! I'll bet we could get a grant. Seriously. You be Executive Director. I'll be chief recruitment officer. (The easy job 'cause I just have to announce it on FR). LOL

Blast em, Dick. Just blast them to eternity and make the MSM look FOOLISH even more than they already do. I love that he gave the interview to Fox and not David "Angry" Gregory's crappy outfit.

My son was stationed in Germany, living off base, and driving his car to the base every morning.
One day he's driving along and a car is waiting at the side street.
The guy pulls out right into my son's car.
The poor guy got out....beyond upset. Said he saw my son and has no idea why he just pulled right out.
Sometimes STUFF happens.
Funny part....son gets out and is cursing in German.......the German is cursing in English!
They both burst out laughing and the insurance company took care of it all.

They hate Fox......Rafferty, that drunk on CNN refers to Fox as the EFF WORD STATION.
But they hate Brit with an illogical hatred.

Very true at the least they hoping if they keep on like this the stress will be too much for him and he will resign.
In their dreams the VP is made of stronger stuff than this. This does not mean he is not upset by what he has done but he has the strength of character and a loving family to help him get through this.

Indeed I am certain as much as anything they did not want the story to hit before Sunday afternoon to ensure that the hunting party has gone and there was not a media circus on or near the ranch.

The Oprahization of women is NOT a good thing
Very true. The VP will do well because he's the antithesis of this. Or maybe another way to put it, he's the antidote.
To: snugs
Bad public behavior is too common these days, and should not be rewarded.
The manly, and well-behaved, Brit Hume deserves the honor of interviewing Cheney. And Cheney deserves the honor of being interviewed by Hume.
David Gregory should try a little kindness, for a change.

I couldn't believe this, "He should have told the AP, as is the usual case."
People didn't seem to acknowledge that maybe Whittington's children/grandchildren might have wanted to hear about their father/grandfather from someone other than CNN.
If he says that, the press will drop this one and scurry away with their tails between their legs.
To: Peach
Uh oh, hope attorney work doesn't include drawing up a lawsuit against Cheney.......LOLOLOL........
The dems are hoping and praying for a bad outcome for this man.

Talking point for Cheney:
"Even (vice) presidents have private lives."

Do you have the timeline that was posted on another thread yesterday? I think some have the impression Cheney didn't report the incident to LE until the next day. It was my understanding it was reported to LE right away and they interviewed Cheney about it the next day.

Absolutely I agree with this and I agree also with waiting until the following day announcing it to the media. In fact apart from it would have been leaked I would have left it longer.
