Please take a moment to call the C-Span office to let them know you would like to see the Able Danger hearings today. The hearing starts at 2:30 eastern time today. It is not on their schedule and when I called C-Span they said they did not know if or when they would run the hearing. Then I called Congressman Weldon's office and they are baffled that C-Span is not running the hearing. I told Weldon's office I would put this thread up and hopefully enough people will call C-Span to encourage them to run the hearings live.

The squirrelly thing that is going on now Peach is that Shaffer is being destroyed or they are trying real hard by the DOD. You gotta wonder what role the adm. is playing in this, they can't be just ignoring it!

Weldon: The reason the Leewood info was destroyed is because people in the city didn't want info on Chinese proliferation activities to be know. Info was provocative. Sensitive technology associated iwth our weapons systems.

You've heard the give and take and 9 mos. of activity. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. Do you think people want this story to go away?

Shaffer: Without a doubt they want it to go away and will do whatever they can to make it go waway.

SmitH: It's cost me two jobs so far and they want it to go aawy. The pressure I've felt.

Me too but I eagerly watch each time something of similar import (in my estimation) arises. I watch the lone person(s) try to get it to the Senate and then I glue myself to the hearings and am disappointed every single time. They all laugh chuckle and go to dinner. Look at O'Neill and what he was put through and Congress has never even given him a glance. Same ole bunch of $hit--wasting taxpayer money on the road to no where.

WeldOn: This is so much information here and I wish this work had been done by the 9/11 Commission. That's why we paid them $70 million and let them hire so many staffers.

They did everything they could to ignore this. No one has been put under oath in a Defense department investigation.

For whatever reason, there are those who don't want this story to be told. It's not about classified procedures and methods and would never give up info on one of our intel officers. It's because there will be people with egg on their face.
