Today President Bush welcomed the 2005 NCAA National Champion University of Texas Longhorns football team to the South Lawn at the White House, where he congratulated the team and coaches with great humor and warmth.........and a lot of Texas pride! Later in the day, he welcomed members of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation in the Oval Office of the White House. The council, created by the USA Freedom Corps in 2003, promotes volunteerism and recognizes Americans who serve our communities and the world.
First Lady, Laura Bush visited the Giant Pandas at the National Zoo.
Today the news was released that Mr. Harry Whittington, who was accidentally hit with birdshot in a hunting accident with Vice President Cheney, had had a very mild, asymptomatic heart attack. He is being carefully watched and being treated conservatively, and is expected to fully recover. We need to keep Mr Whittington and Vice President Cheney in our prayers. The media are in a feeding frenzy, and are completely out of control.
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island............ some wonderful photos today on the Daily Dose!! And a Happy Valentines Day to you all!!
Good morning. Thanks for the dose Ohio.
I think the odious and disgusting D. Gregory should be called every time someone leaves the top off the toothpaste tube, or if the President leaves his socks lying about.
Sheesh! This kind of stuff makes me grind my teeth so that I don't scream. I really needed Sanity Island after all the nonsense.
You're going analytical on me, ohio.
Thanks for the dose!
Not that there's anything wrong with that...
I'd bet he'd be amused. :)
(Is that better, tx. :)
You're welcome, navy! Thanks for stopping by!
- Ha ha ha - Okay, I took a shot. ;-) Now, I like you EVEN MORE! lolIt's funny, whenever I make a dinner that everyone really likes, I remind them that it was NOT me in the kitchen, because I DO NOT COOK. I also remind them that they are NOT to tell a soul that I made that dish.
I MUST maintain my anti-domesticated status...or the natural order of things will collapse. ha ha ha

HANG NAIL!!!!
CALL DAVID GREGORY ....ALERT THE MEDIA!!!!
Actually, domesticity is low on my list of priorities, but eating is not, so I learned to cook out of necessity.
bttt
True .. so true!
