I just heard from a local radio reporter (during Rush newsbreak at approximately 1:00 p.m) that Whittington "may have taken a turn for the worse," and was put back into intensive care.

And everyone in the community saw how their Docs were being treated and didn't like it, and everyone watching on TV saw how they were being badgered and didn't like it.........this is BAD for the media.
Their approval ratings of 23% just went down to 19%....... (just made those numbers up. ;)

A guard at the door is not a bad idea.
Who knows what lengths Cheney's enemies would go to, to see Whittington die from this accident?
The hospital scene from "The Godfather" comes to mind.

Minor heart attack .. prayers for him. May God grant him healing and recovery. Yesterday's reports indicated he (the shooting victim) did not identify himself while returning from retrieving his downed bird, which safety protocols require. I also don't know why they weren't hunting with bird dogs.
Safety procedures are not there for window dressing. They're there for a reason. Hunters ignore them at their peril. Looks like he got what was coming to him.

It's the size of the shot, not the gauge of the round. You could have a 28 gauge rifled slug, which would be as big around as your fingertip. This was very small #9 shot, and your hubby was correct on the size. He just explained the different sizes .. he even drew a picture of the different sizes for me

The infection question was a good one. Let's hope it does not, but an infection is not unlikely, and could pose a serious problem.

Ooh, now here's something you don't get to see very often, Brit putting Juliet Huddy and Mikey in their place!
Almost as good as a Juan Smackdown!

The reporterette on Fox keeps saying "This changes the political landscape." I honestly don't know what more these "reporters" could do to look more stupid.

reporterette on Fox keeps saying "This changes the political landscape." It was an ACCIDENT. Cheney has already been cleared of any wrongdoing. What an airhead.
