I know, I know. No obligatory picture of her and her outstanding "traits". Sorry. Somebody help.

A shame. She won't win. Nelson is moderate enough (in acutality vs. appearance is something to be debated) that he'll draw enough from both sides of the aisle. Could be worse, I guess.

Nelson is well liked by most everyone in the state. His efforts to protect and even add to military installations has won favor in Jacksonville and the Panhandle.

Harris needs to link him to the rest of the Senate liberals by showing how many times he voted with Kennedy, Boxer, etc.

"A vote for Bill Nelson is a vote for Ted Kennedy" would be a good slogan.

I think only Jeb could beat Nelson this year. The would also be a nice way to set up a run for President. I think a senator could win if he was a recent 2 term governor.

I heard they couldn't really say much until after the filing deadline has passed and I think it was mon(2-13) so there should be a shift in the comments now.

Some think Nelson is 'moderate' because he keeps a low profile but his record speaks volumes.

He voted against the ban on partial birth abortion and he voted against Judge Alito.

He gave Michael Moore's radical propaganda movie 'Farenheit 911' a thumbs up!

His voting record is as liberal as Hillary & Kennedy!

If you want Harris to win......join her team & make a donation so she can tell Floridians the truth about Nelson!

Did you just write that? I don't like him at all, and I don't know anyone who does.

Confirm Judge Alito to the SCOTUS? Nelson (D) Florida: Nay.

I think that at this stage of the game, Congresswoman Harris would appreciate photos other than the sex symbol one so loved by the hot-babe hormoners on FR. I know I would if I were a conservative female candidate for the Senate.

The worn-out photo posted endlessly is getting tiresome, to boot....if you pardon the pun.

Or, if this suggestion rubs any droolers the wrong way, and just to be fair, someone should start posting some full frontal photos of conservative male senatorial candidates in thin, skin tight jeans and bare torsos posing next to horses.

Yep, that would do it. That's the ticket. That would help their candidacies immeasurably.

Hubba, hubba.

Thanks, Leni.....I agree completely with the sentiments you expressed in post#15.

Congresswoman Harris has a record of accomplishment and deserves to be treated with respect.

A former IBM marketing executive and vice president of a commercial real estate firm, Congresswoman Harris earned a Master's Degree from Harvard University with a specialization in international trade and negotiations, and a Bachelor's Degree in history from Agnes Scott College. She studied abroad at the University of Madrid and at L'Abri outside Geneva, Switzerland.

Congresswoman Harris has received numerous honors for her dedicated work on behalf of Florida including: the Mel Fisher Award for International Trade Advocacy; the Florida Economic Development Council Legislator of the Year Award; the Florida United Business Association Outstanding Legislator Award; the Florida Arts Advocacy Award; the Sarasota Manatee Jewish Family and Children Service's Philanthropy Award; the Sarasota Humanitarian of the Year Award and the Sarasota Statesman of the Year Award.

Here's one of my favorites. Katherine Harris is speaking to the Harvard Alumni group, of which she is a member:

Katherine Harris has improved her standing somewhat, but she still has a long way to go.
