Weldon plans to highlight much of his work over the past 9 months on Able Danger, and detail new information on the planning effort, including some of the ongoing investigations within Congress.

Able danger is "hands off" for all the media..only we few at FR will stay informed..the MSM will not show the American public the treason those of the "left" have time and again committed. Lets hope a bomb shell is dropped in the hearings that will force it to the front page, but it looks like another DC cover up. Curt Weldon is a true hero and may pay the price this fall.

Bumping. Just heard about this, was going to post if it wasn't already here, hope it goes somewhere.
I'm sure the Old Media presstitutes will cover this with the fervor they are exhibiting on Cheney's hunting mishap.

That is very true. Few on the left or the right will come anywhere near the story. In my view the Able Danger program should be at the forefront of any discussion involving the NSA and wiretapping but, as one editor told me, the story is...too complicated.
C-SPAN.org does still have the 9/21/2005 hearing archived if anyone wants to listen. Hopefully this new hearing will be available on their site sometime soon also.

'13' CYBER CLUES TO 9/11 PILOT (Mohammad Atta surfaced 13 Times Before 9-11)
"The revelation is significant because the 9/11 commission has asserted that Atta was not on the intelligence community's radar screen before the attacks.
The commission had also dismissed assertions from Weldon and others that a program known as Able Danger had linked Atta to a Brooklyn cell and included his photo on a chart of al Qaeda suspects.
The quirky program combed through massive amounts of data to locate terrorists' connections.
The fact that the program flagged Atta should have provided a lead that apparently wasn't followed, observers say."

Clearly, if Able Danger story gets anywhere at all it will be because of the persistence of Kurt Weldon LT. Col. Shaffer and the New Media.

It isn't on CSPAN 1 nor 2 nor 3.
Not on FoxNews nor CNN or MSNBC.

I'm trying to find out if the hearing will be available by Internet or cable but have not found out anything just yet...but I did confirm my suspicion that a lot of time is wasted on...crap.

C-SPAN radio is covering the Whistleblower Hearings now. Weldon is supposed to speak at that hearing but he may have already done so.

I have heard that at least part of the hearing tomorrow will be classified but some will be open to the public, but I doubt that anyone in the msm/antique media will bother to cover it.
My guess is the DOD has been successful in killing off most of these hearings claiming nat security. Problem is they decided to go after a Nat. hero
Col. Shaffer--bad move.

Remember the old days when such a story would be all over the web. It would be on Drudge in 42 point bold by now.

Just keep your fingers crossed that there even is a hearing. The DOD has successfully killed all the other attempts to have hearings. They are using nat security as their basis meanwhile they are blasting Weldon and Shaffer every chance they get, disgusting stuff here. Time for us to take part in the activities.
