TODAY we expose a rogue squad of British soldiers who savagely attacked a defenceless bunch of Iraqi teenagers and with 42 brutal blows brought shame on our nation and its proud army.
The horrifying scenes on these pages will shock the world and ignite a huge military scandal.
They were captured on a secret home video apparently filmed for "fun" by a corporaland show at least eight of his hulking comrades cruelly:
DRAGGING four weedy riotersall apparently in their early teensoff the street and behind the high walls of a secluded army compound,
BEATING them senseless with vicious blows from batons, boots and fists,

I'm quite sure these soldiers were provoked by these bloodthirsty terrorists (teenagers can kill too) beforehand. I'd like to hear the *real* story behind this.

In other news, Muslim head chopping of infidels and suicide bombing of innocents continues without rage...

It's a wacko fringe website. Who KNOWS if it is even true? Sort of like the story about US Troops "Raping" Iraqi women that was sources by the Boston Globe from a Porn Website! Sorry but I would not take this too seriously

Not unless the youths were doing something they shouldn't have been.

Maybe the Brits had a right to be offended, for instance, maybe someone drew a cartoon of Tony Blair.
After all, Robert Fisk said his attackers had a good reason to beat him.

At least someone is doing what should be done to these hoodlums. Shocking the world? I think not - applauding them would be more like it.

I saw the video. Not very flattering. There was somebody doing a play by play on the tape, doing a midle eastern accent, and making fun of the whole thing.
Definitely bad press for the Brits.

"I'm quite sure these soldiers were provoked by these bloodthirsty terrorists (teenagers can kill too) beforehand. I'd like to hear the *real* story behind this."
If the story is accurate, then it's both wrong and illegal no matter how they were provoked. On the other hand the outrage seems over the top in comparison with some of the other things going on in Iraq.

They dragged their little rock throwing punk asses over to a wall and beat their butts until they settled down. This was after the yoots broke in to an area they were not supposed to be in and started throwing things. Not a good idea.
The punks are lucky they did not get capped in a war zone. F'em.
OK, I've seen cartoons and spankings which I find boring. Next meaningless story please...

I agree. Watch the video for yourself and make your *own* conclusions.

Have we learned nothing from all the Internet 'private' porn tapes?
apparently filmed for "fun" by a corporal
If you film it, it will find its way to the Internet, eventually!!!!

From the article:
...He told us: "I'm sure those Iraqis weren't innocent little boysI bet they'd all been slinging rocks and maybe even explosives. But that's no excuse for a beating like that.
Ummm, if somebody threw explosives IT IS AN EXCUSE FOR A BEATING

I think a message that says if you throw a rock at me you're going to get your face kicked in is probably the right message to send. But it won't matter, I'm sure the media that decided to respect the sensitivity of the muzzies over cartoons won't show this aberation 16 gazillion times. ;-)

The video is at the News of the Screws (as it's affectionately called in the UK for reasons I won't go into) website.
They certainly seem to have given them a good lacing. Other soldiers wandering past seem sanguine enough about it. Yes - I agree, need more info. they have arrested one man (won't say if he's a soldier!).
BUT: this is 2 years old and serves no purpose I know of than to give AlJazerra another stick to beat the allied troops with and put current troops at more risk. Whoever got this into the public domain now is up to no good.
kind regards,

I guess they conveniently forgot to report the "rock-throwing" that preceded the deserved beatings.
To: Now_is_The_Time
I posted this on another thread about this topic.... Maybe I'm crazy but, has anyone noticed that one of the soldiers appears to look right at the cameraman? Early in the video, watch the one soldier in the center of the shot. I swear he looks up toward the camera, almost to make sure the cameraman is getting the shot....or I'm nuts. You decide!
Maybe the 'corporal' filming it explains the 'look' from the soldier...I don't know. Seems weird to me.

The writer is so obviously biased that he casts significant doubt on his own story. I'd have to see it confirmed by a couple of credible sources.

The News Of The World a wacko fringe website? I dont think so the NOTW is the Sunday version of the biggest selling (and not remotely left wing) paper in the UK, The Sun.
To: Now_is_The_Time
Looks like the Brit soldiers went "Middle Eastern" on these little bastards who were throwing rocks at them and tossed an improvised grenade. I don't have much problem with what the Brits did. What they did is what makes an impression on the fevered Muslim brain
Stoning can hurt and is an extreme sign of disrespect in the Muslim world. As in being stoned to death. Israeli troops have been subject to stoning by these "youths" for years. Now it's Britain's turn

I think that the "teenagers" better thank allah (or whoever they thank) that they are still alive with only abrasions and contusions.
They all probably deserve be dead so they can do no more damage to us....or to the new Iraq IMO.
