This affair is artifically kept buoyant in a sea of lies, suppressions of the truth, misconceptions, lunacy and hypocrisyThis sentence applies to so many situations these days.
BTW What did our stupid ass state department say about this? I wish Condi would slap a few of em around, because there is only one reasonable US reaction to this.

Well, I don't appreciate what I suspect is the motivation why the cartoons were reprinted. However, this is quickly (for me) moving into the category of " I said I regretted the act, but since you insist on beating me with it time and again, I no longer regret it ".

I feel that currently my beloved country is being pissed upon rather too much. Denmark has not been neglecting its duties on the international stage. ..........And yet Denmark is being pissed upon. The spokesman of the US State Department is pissing on Denmark....... Not to piss too much on Denmark as 25% of my kid's genes are Danish genes...........However, it should be noted that America has felt this way for quite a while without much support from Europe.......including Denmark.
