Well, if it's any consolation to Denmark, the U.S. State Department has pissed upon patriotic Americans for a very long time.

Support the Danes ! Buy Danish!
Our State Dept response to the cartoon issue is weak.
We can do better than cave to the fascists

This sort of sums up the way I feel !!!

The State Department's response wasn't well thought out, nor did they need to say anything at the time.

IT'S ABOUT TIME!! That's what I think. I'm so used to milquetoast, multifultural nonsense coming from the EU region, that's it wonderful to see there's at least one man there who can write a good, strong, clear editorial that makes sense. Maybe others will follow. (Maybe the message will even find a home at our State Dept.)

Yeah, I love the line you highlighted -- that says it all.
The enemies of freedom always say they support freedom -- then they say "but." I hate that.

For years the Scandinavians sucked up to the Arabs. Now they realized that all their servility bought them no love. For years they denounced those awful Americans and Israelis. I'll bet a lot of "human shield" and International Solidarity Movement types were Scandinavian.
So this is a very good wakeup call.

Copy the editorial and Email it to Condi Rice and to those congressmen you want to be profoundly shocked by truth and reality.

There is a "war" within the State Dept between those who are Chamberlain / Jimmuh Cartah diplomats and those who understand the reality of the new world.
Powell did not get them under control nor has Condi.

Ann Coulter said
"In order to express their displeasure with the idea that Muslims are violent, thousands of Muslims around the world engaged in rioting, arson, mob savagery, flag-burning, murder and mayhem, among other peaceful acts of nonviolence."
