You know, I don't have a good answer to that. At the time I forgave myself, I was young, did not know about my younger brother, and the guy moved on. When we told my dad years later he was stunned. I never followed up with homosexual experimentation, I turned down other homosexual "hits" as I suspect most men have done. That was many years ago.

I'm retired, happy with my wife of 26 years. But I went through a divorce from my first marriage and don't know how this event affected my personnel self esteem. My brother got into drugs, (it was the flower children period) and many years later died of complications while still using drugs. Who knows whether this early event had a weight? I think the best that can be said is that I would not allow this to happen to my son. And most parents think the same way. I support and continue to support the BSA as a fine youth organization. I also am totally opposed to giving into any of the homosexual normalization agenda. In fact, I still hope that one day the cause of homosexuality will be medically determined so that prospective parents can determine whether we want this aspect in the sexual continuum or not.
