The 'bottom line' on ESPN2 gives the latest results about 10 times an hour. And I'm sure that ESPN News is giving the very latest updates as final results come in.

LOL and I know I'm naughtier than all of your grand ones combined!

The "live thread" should be started whenever the day's television coverage here begins. I haven't studied the TV schedule for the games, but I think that will be generally in the afternoon.
The point is that we'd like a thread for those following the games on television, and a spoiler thread for those who want news about the games in real time.
To: Howlin
Are you watching the Canada/Italy game? I think this is a live broadcast...Canada is ready to go into the double digits...
To: Admin Moderator
Got you!
I'll put up a live thread in about 6 P.M. today.

My last thread might have been confusing. The live thread is the spoiler thread, especially as it is titled today.
We want a "spoiler" thread and a "TV" thread.
Hopefully the terminology will remain constant throughout the games. Whatever you want to name them is fine with us.
To: Admin Moderator
Well, I obviously didn't "get it," but I do now. :-)
My Live Thread at 6 will be the TV thread.
From the NBC web site, it looks like the TV threads will be starting about 4 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. on weekends.

We're about to get, in NJ, what Torino would have liked to have a few days ago......8 to 12 inches of snow starting around now and continuing through tomorrow.

Niece just called from Baltimore; she said they were expecting 14 inches, can that be right?

If Canada keeps scoring every minute, the final's gonna be something like 20-0.
To: Howlin
That's the thing, NBC is going to be hoarding most of the live action until after 8 Eastern and saving major events even later till 11:00 PM.
Meanwhile the Canadian Broadcasting feed will have them live in the early afternoon from 12-2, frustrating!

The ONE and only good thing about living in Detroit is that we get live broadcasts from CBC and their French Language station.
I was just watching the pairs in French.

I feel terrible for Italy, but the crowd seems to be having fun.
Looks like it's over now. That was kinda painful to watch. Canadian teams looks excellent, I wonder how the US team will do up against Canada.

It's gorgeous here! Sun is shining brightly, and the wind is not blowing like it was a day or so ago. :)
