Why do people always buy milk and bread? That never makes any sense to me.

You might be losing power for a few days, so let's run out and buy perishables.

Me either. It cracks me up. And the people who abandon their vehicles as soon as they see the first flake of snow... Ugh!!!

I'm just North of D.C., right in the middle of the 6-12" band. I hope that we get hit hard! Give me two feet again so I can have fun with the snow blower on the front of my little tractor!!!

You ever try eating Cap'n Crunch cereal without the milk? :-)

You might be losing power for a few days, so let's run out and buy perishables.

Bread can last for days, maybe a week without being refrigerated. Milk, if you lose power, you can keep it cold by putting it outside along with other perishables.

The problem isn't keeping things cold.
As we speak the inside of my garage is colder than the inside of my refrigerator.
