He said many Westerners viewed a Muslim as “a congenital terrorist.” “They think Osama bin Laden speaks for the religion and its followers,” Abdullah said in his speech. “The denomination of Islam and the vilification of Muslims, there is no denying, is widespread within mainstream Western society.”

Is it just me that sees the irony in these two paragraphs?

Yet anothertrait common to both Muslims and liberals--they create a mess with their actions then claim victim status as result.

Malaysia may well be the only highly developed Islamic country with a non-oil based economy (and many do regard it as the first developed country in the Islamic world), but they have forgotten that it was their ethnic Chinese (and some of their Indians as well) who helped built the modern Malaysia's economic engine:

If they continue the Jim Crow policies and drive the entire Chinese out, expect Malaysia to crash down to the ground. (Well, these words will guarantee I will be barred from entering Malaysia from now on ;-p, but I will not cower.)
