What's to worry... Jack Bauer has Los Angeles covered.
The little twit wasn't the LA mayor in 2992.
LA Ping....Mayor now reverses himself...
Maybe he is using the Mayan Calendar....He doesnt mention how long it would take helicopters to evacuate a 60 story skyscraper, burning.
The last time LAFD had done it was the First Interstate Building fire....and as I recall, it was very rough riding due to the heat and smoke going up the sides of the building.
The DUmmies are still saying Bush made the whole threat up. Even their Democratic leaders agreeing with Bush won't get their heads out of their butts.
OPINION: He had to reverse himself -- or admit he has a memory problem or admit to ____ (fill in the blanks).
Thanks for the update.
Protecting my Los Angeles political career is my top priority.
Feh. Jack Bauer is just picking up Joe Friday's leftovers.
Maybe he was just giving the Hispanic response to his own statements.
What's missing from this statement? Where is the "I was mistaken about not Bush notifying my office" apology? Not a shred of regret or even a correction. Instead, he pats himself on the back while enjoying the totally baseless Bush-bashing headlines of the morning.
The man has no honor.
(I know, that shouldn't be surprising.)

LOL, yes he does.
Not that we'd actually spend the money on threat mitigation...
You bet Tony. It's the largest target in the US. But it's not a Muslim terror target. It's a Mexican terror target.
Not that Fox is, well, foxier than Osama, he just got there first. Now that the Mexicans are a majority and terrorizing the minority, the Islamists have no interest.
It simply would not terrorize US citizens if Islamists attached your city Tony and killed thousands of illegal immigrants and Hollywood moguls.
That's what is known as an Official Federal Opportunity-Knocks Remittance and Honorarium Request.
Typical for Tony Villar, I would say.
A weasel-like smile is no substitute for integrity...
