The mayor is upset for not knowing. Dang it. I'm sure he could have gotten a clearance for the briefings. Or are their some issues. That's like Barney Fife whining why someone didn't tell him that Otis was in his jail cell without him knowing. "CITIZEN's ARREST, CITIZENS ARREST"

For the level that the actionable intell was and the release of it to uncleared, untrained demoncrat party political sybilians would have resulted in political leaks for self aggrandizement or sources and methods jeopardizing National Security.

Knowing this mayor of LA, he would have made a public announcement in Spanish and let the rest sort themselves out.

It's worth noting that the current mayor, wasn't the mayor at the time this happened. So he really has nothing to say, and is just trying to create a political issue out of a serious event.
