I believe the current riots over cartoon images, the incessant terrorism in Israel and the occupied territories, the growing Muslim willingness to go on rampages over even the most unfounded allegations, the fanatical Iranian drive for nuclear weapons, and the ubiquitous rise of virulent anti-Semitic and anti-Christian threats and worse, and the refusal or inability of common Iraqis to drive out the suicide bombers are all an attempt by Messianic Muslims to hasten the arrival of the Islamic "Rapture"...

One must first dispel the notion that the Islamists want a peace or "truce" with the West any more than Hitler wanted accommodation with the Jews or a negotiated settlement with Great Britain and America.

Hitler did want negotiated peace with England and America. The Russians were eating him alive. That was why he launched the abortive Battle of the Bulge in an attempt to force a peace settlement.

A nuclear conflict in the Middle East is all but certain particularly if the Iranian kooks get the bomb. What worries me would be that the US would be drawn into the conflict and try to fight a conventional war in a nuclear battlefield.

The old strategy of MAD should be resurrected, but with a new twist...AAD Absolutely Assured Destruction. Iran should be put on notice that using nuclear weapons will generate a massive nuclear retaliation by the US and ditto for any other Arab states like Syria that may want to get into the game. I think even the Russians are worried about Muslim fanaticts with nukes.

You make the mistake of assuming threats of destruction/death would deter the Mooselimbs. Here you are talking about a culture and society of sucide bombers who tell themselves death is much better than life. The Russians wanted to live and that is why the threat of mutual destruction worked in the past. Not so with the Muzzies.

Hi All-

The simple fact-of-the-matter is that civilized nations walk around as if on eggshells when it comes to potential insults to Muslim people. By our acting this way, Muslims are essentially given permission to become bloodthirsty maniacs whenever things don't go their way. The sooner people realize we're in for a protracted, violent, and ugly struggle the faster we'll be able to take steps to militarily accomplish our mission quickly.

It's safe to assume that Westerners don't wish to live in an age of senseless terrorism and violence.

If this was a court of law, instead of the survival for every man, woman and child in this country, I would say you had a point.

But, the burden should fall on nations such as Iran, and Syria, to make sure "a band of terrorist" do not first secure such a weapon, and second, not use it

We are entering into a war of survival, two cultures are beginning to clash. One side has shown its willingness to kill everyone that do not believe as they do, and will soon have the means to do it.

Do you really believe if such a weapon is used, the surviving people will not respond?

I will repeat, this is not a court of law, nor is it a debating society, it is a war of survival. If a weapon of mass destruction is used against the west, Iran, Syria, and anyone else responsible will be held accountable, and pay a very dear price indeed.
