The Golden Rule of Gun Safety is to ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, point the barrel of the gun in a safe direction. If this rule is ALWAYS followed, there will never be another gun accident.

The #2 rule is: "the best saftey is between your ears"

;)

Very well done, Kidlett!!!

The Eddie Eagle Program ia a great tool for educating youngsters about the responsibity that comes with the handling of firearms.

You've shown great poise and polish with this thread. I hope to see more soon!

Tell your Mom that it's okay to give you a hug.

Respectfully,

Jack Deth.

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our

Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Kidlett, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities. I think teaching gun safety is a very important thing to do.

One important lesson I learned is this:

Another chilly day here in DC Metroland. Rumor has it we might get some snow flurries later this evening.

(((HEY MA))).....have I told you lately I think you are an

To all newbies and lurkers

Now, I have to stir up trouble check to see who is at the Canteen this morning.

But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!

Now remember, the Canteen is

So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS

Our boys are going to be working on their BSA rifle merit badges this summer. They're already great shooters.

Thanks to all who offered a Welcome Home to my darling hubby, just back from Aghanistan! . Y'all rock.
