Good point. If some idiot had used my father's funeral for anything other than to celebrate his life I might have shot the jerk. You are right.

What do you expect from people who turn a blind eye to the klans members in their party.

When I heard she went to Mexico, I assumed she had cancer. Dr. Donsbach's clinic just over the border has been providing a different approach to that and other diseases for years.
I do know of a person who was cured of lung cancer there, but I also had a dear friend who got deplorable medical advice here, and after her cancer had progressed she waited too long, and then went there. Sadly, she also died there. I read they shut him down last week.

...but we're not supposed to make political hay with 9-11?You seem not to understand a simple fundamental difference. That being that funerals should honor and celebrate the good done in a lifetime. 9/11 started a new global political era, in which we are currently still fighting a related, yes related, war.
To: Zerano
maybe folks on the Right should stoop to their level for once & LET THEM HAVE IT! I prefer to remain on our current level, thank you very much:)
But somebody please tell me something: what's the deal w/ folks like Rev. Lowery (& especially Rev. Jesse Jackson) putting all of their most important talking points in rhyming fashion?
They're modern day poets!/sarcasam

Bunch of Julian Bond-type liberals in attendance. C'mon, wouldn't you have been surprised if there WASN'T any Bush bashing?
To: Txsleuth
No .. he couldn't, but at least he gave people a taste.
I'm SO sick of all this victimology and race and entitlement whining I could just spit.

Someone needs to draw a cartoon with Coretta's casket as a soap box with Joseph Lowery and Jimmy Carter standing on top spewing their political venom. What a disgrace.
To: Howlin
Exactly. Everyone needs to see the depths to which they'll reach.

DEMOCRATS: I AM ONE OF THE MILLIONS WHO USED TO VOTE FOR YOU.
Listen carefully to me:
NEVER AGAIN.
NEVER.
EVER.
EVER!
Their behavior and lack of tact stuns even me--and stunning me is pretty darn difficult. Yet the hatefulness that flows from their hearts and out of their mouths at a time of mourning continues to amaze. Truly, to me they sound like either: toddlers in a grocery aisle--screaming and fighting without awareness of how childish they look OR a teenager who has lost all respect for his or her self and thinks rudeness is a way of "asserting" their position. Either way, it is ugly.
Either way, I'm very happy to be a
Recovering_Democrat.

Lowery finished his tribute to King talking about her children - Bernice, Dexter, Martin III and Yolanda, who sat on the front pew. He turned away from the podium to a thunderous applause. Bush immediately rose to his feet to be the first to greet Lowery with a hug. Both were smiling.
I would have punched Joseph.

The left has become totally psychotic (OK, it was already, but what used to be considered fringe ideas have now become "mainstream" in the Demagogic Party). Those Democrats who still have a clue to reality are leaving the party in droves. The party will self-destruct as it becomes more and more an echo chamber for leftist morons like Lowrey and all the Michael Moore-ons, etc.
