"Thousands Remember Coretta Scott King" ---------- I was watching Fox News and they showed Jimmy Carter speaking at Coretta Scott King's funeral, and sure enough, he started talking about illegal wire-tapping and other examples of government run amok. I am appalled that he would use this opportunity to bash the President, but not really surprised. :-(

Liberals "of faith" have a way with disrespecting those who have passed on, don't they.

Yeah, missed one of my favorites. He made it illegal for nuclear fuel to be reprocessed into new fuel rods in US, put just about the final nail in the American nuclear energy coffin. Supposedly this was going to aid in international non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, and that certainly worked out well. NOT!
It is as though the government announced a process was in hand which would turn 50% of coal ash into new, low sulfer coal, but instead of burning it, we are going to build horribly expensive holes in the ground to hide it in. A student of Rickover, Carter didn't even have the excuse of ignorance, though he never did learn to pronounce the word "nuclear".
"No man is truly completely worthless. At least he can serve as a bad example." Ergo, Ronaldus Magnus.

You might be and probably are, very classy. However, that POS peanut farmer and unanimous choice for worst President has no class and I can't wait for the day off for his funeral.

President Bush got a standing ovation.
He did? Thank you for posting that. I feel better now, knowing he was shown respect from some people at least.

We must start understanding that these people do not hate Bush, that is not their agenda
I think they do hate President Bush. Its an unreasonable ugly hatred for a Godly man and I believe therein lies the reason for their hatred.

They DO hate President Bush. They hate him because he didn't allow Algore to steal the 2000 election.

Jimmy Carter, the worst President in American History!

Carter lost me at the point he gave away the Panama Canal. He was just horrible as president and he continues to prove he is worthless.
He fails to mention it was a Democrat who wiretapped MLK.

What was more funny than Carters' comments was watching AC try to defend them on the Vanity and Colmes show.

"Apparently, Jimmy is too stupid to know that it was JFK who wiretapped Martin Luther King."
They know, it was just inconvenient to acknowledge it. Mr. Carter becomes a smaller and smaller man everytime he opens his mouth. I don't know if he felt he was entitled to be remembered as a great president, and is bitter because he isn't or if he is slipping mentally, or what. He certainly is no credit to the great office he once held, and it is really sad.
