These people (the Clintons) don't do ANYTHING without polling it first. Hillary's weakness is her relationship to Bill. Why would we want a president that wasn't smart enough to know that her husband was cheating her for more than 20 years? or someone that condoned her husband's adulterous behavior for that long?
This is the first of many little stunts that they will do to secure her standing as presidential front runner. Be prepared for more vacations to the Cape and beach dancing.
