Chip Reid on Imus just characterized Obama's response as "taking the high road". Snort. Obama got caught lying through his teeth, and that pusillanimous response was the best he could offer up for weaseling out of what he told McCain. Obama's letter sounded Clintonian to me, a non-denial denial.

Any difficulty I have with McCain as a RINO has nothing but respect for his military service and time as a POW. Your label of him as a 'sellout' as a POW is uncalled for. Who knows what you or I would do while being tortured.

I can't stand the guy at all and if I had to compare him to anyone, it would be Kerry. They both project a superior air; they are the true diplomats and gentleman of the Senate. I feel confident McCain has no chance of securing the GOP nomination.
