Bye-bye Delay! So long crooks! Goodbye world, I'm gone by ZOT!

Posted on 01/08/2006 8:43:32 PM CST by SoLongCrooks

Yaa, you repukes are not doing so well, huh? Imagine, you repukes control the presidency, both houses of Congress, and appointed 7 of the 9 Supreme Court justices. Yet the Supreme Court thre out sodomy laws in all 50 states and recognized the right of government to seize land for any reason. And you couldn't pass your Social Security changes could you? Sorry, that was your last shot. Come November, we're going to start seeing more Democratic faces in the House. It's the end for you guys. You guys are celebrating when Bush's numbers go *up* to 45%. Then Faux News trumpets this like it's some kind of victory.

I should add I am not a Democrat, I am a communist. And I know one day the workers will control the means of production, and all the capitalist idle class parasites you guys love will be eliminated as a class. But I also recognize, like the CPUSA, sometimes you must enter a front with the liberals for tactical reasons. We had fun sticking it to the liberals with Nader and the Greens in 2000, 2002 and 2004, but this year we're switching gears. Evo Morales in Bolivia, Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, plus all are other Latin American comrades, and the Left Party in Germany, the Socialist Party in Spain pulling the troops out of Iraq. It's a come back for the workers of the world, BIG TIME. Sorry to all you capitalists and sycophants, or Jesus-believing loonies.

Oh yaa - Bye bye Tom Delay. We control nothing in the government, yet we still control so much! Gramsci was right to make a long march through the institutions. Too bad your shot at power amounted to so little! At least you got your estate tax cut...for a few years anyhow.

*******Beginning of new thread by the same Troll**************

The first thing I will say up front - I am a progressive, not a conservative. This message is about the freedom of Free Republic, versus the party line of Democratic Underground.

If you look at Democratic Underground's rules ( http://www.democraticunderground.com/forums/rules_detailed.html ), one is "Democratic Underground may not be used for political, partisan, or advocacy activity by supporters of any political party or candidate other than the Democratic Party or Democratic candidates." Note, this doesn't say Republicans, this doesn't say "progressive candidates", it says Democratic candidates, period. Now let's compare this to Free Republic's posting guidelines ( http://www.freerepublic.com/help.htm ) - "Broadly stated, the goals of this site are to further conservatism, expose political corruption, and recover a truly constitutional form of government." No mention of the Republican Party. No jihad against you if you make up your mind to vote for Pertouka. No "party line" from the Republican leadership. Significantly, even though DU and FR are compared often, that is a (unofficial) Democratic Party site, you are a conservative site.

I just made two posts saying positive things about the Green party, talking about how people like Clinton and Kerry do not represent working class people and so forth. This was after 200+ posts there by me on other topics. Both of my threads were locked and I was directed to the above mentioned rules, which say those who don't follow the Democratic Party line are not welcome. I then posted a thread saying Free Republic had more freedom of expression than Democratic Underground, and that that was a shame. That was erased.

While my discussion of this was banned on DU, I don't think it will be banned here. I can't believe I am more free to discuss my support of the Greens, or talk about freedom of political discussion on Free Republic than Democratic Underground. And as I said before, the fact that you are a conservative site, not a official or unofficial Republican Party site is probably due to this. The party that runs the White House, Congress and 7 of 9 Supreme Court seats allows people to support Pertouka over Bush on its main political board. The main discussion board for people of the progressive movement declares all must follow the Democratic Party line, and any other discussion is locked and erased. I've even seen people banned before.

This is not going to make me a conservative or Republican. I am a working class person and hate capitalists. Note, I hate capitalists, not conservatives. I know plenty of conservatives, but am not a regular at the mansions of wealthy heirs. Anyhow, my point is this will not make me like capitalism any more, but I am very fed up with the Democrats and places like DU. They restrict freedom, make people follow a party line - and lose. You allow discussion, allow people to choose between Pertouka, Bush and whatnot - and win. Very sad.

I should close this by saying I agree with nothing the Republicans or conservatives are for - except one thing. I am a complete supporter of the Second Amendment. I have been on the left for a long time and the scariest people around are the gun control people. Not the soccer moms who the leaders of gun control people try to appeal to, but the leaders themselves, the people who want more and more gun control. I have heard people like this talk about how they are scared that people up in Appalachia and in the South have so many guns. I am always puzzled like this. For myself, I feel pretty SAFE knowing people in Appalachia, the South and so forth have guns. Why would someone be scared that the working people in rural areas have rifles, shotguns and so forth? The people who say this usually aren't working class people, they are usually liberal yuppie types. So all you second amendment supporters - you're more right than you know, if you heard how these people talk, you'd be more freaked out by all this gun control stuff than you probably already are. The gun control people are the creepiest, scariest people on the left and in the Democratic party. Meaning not the soccer moms and so forth they try to appeal to, but the people masterminding the fight on that. In fact, if you look at DU polls - many many DUers are more pro-2nd amendment than pro-gun control. So who are these gun control people? So keep fighting on this, at least one party supports the 2nd Amendment. Other than this, I don't agree with conservatives or Republicans on anything, especially in terms of the working class. Hopefully this post will shame some DU admin into allowing more freedom of expression for progressives there. You guys can discuss problems in the conservative movement while we can't - we're only allowed to praise the Democratic party, otherwise, hit the road. I hope I shame some DU admin into making changes with this, but I doubt I will.

No he's NOT a zot. He admits to being a liberal. I find that refreshing as well as his being a 2nd Amendment RKBA supporter. Its rare to find praise for Free Republic from someone who doesn't agree with us.

You claim to have lost your job in IT and then WORKED ON WALL STREET! If you can't remember what YOU have posted, it's not my fault.

Then, you claim to have gone into business with another person, but that you have kept your day job.

You say that you're now 31. At that age, you really SHOULD know that 1) the recession you speak of, what short lived 2) markets go up and down 3) there was no "CRASH" ( please know the meaning of words, before you use them !) 4)that the world does not revolve around your petty likes and dislikes.

THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND ALWAYS SHALL BE A BOOM AND BUST CYCLE IN THE MARKET ! And what's more, in business cycles as well. That's life...get used to it!

I must tell you, that some of the suggestions you've gotten here, regarding fringe people, will not serve you in good stead. Read Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, Hyack, and the book with REAGAN's speeches, which he wrote himself; for starters.

If you think I'm a fringer you have no idea who I am. While I support Bush on his SCOUTUS picks, the Iraq war and so on i do not like his border politics, nor did I support his choice of Harriet Miers. Do I want to hold hands and sing Kumbaya? No, but I will not allow some sniviling idiots on this board to kick someone whose ideas might be different from our own. I don't want mindless drones here, I want someone who can think for themselves. His lefty ideas don't scare me into wanting to toss him because I am confident of my views, that are not PC, and not dronish. If I am in the minority here in supporting this new member so be it. Kick me to the curb, but don't do so under false pretenses of me being a lefty, or a PC touchy-feely type.

Huh ? No profitability ? Well that certainly depends on *what* we're talking about. Old economy manufacturing ? Trinkets ? Yea. Sure. Their margins are thin. Actually, a lot of Chinese SOE's (state owned enterprises) are money-losing/wasting entities which are just employment programs for the masses.

The profitable things these days are not commodities (which Chinese make) whose margins thin out in days, but high tech items and services. Who says the economy's broken ? The money just flows different ways. Learn how to tap into it.

Really, you could say I'm laying down bets on two squares.

Get away from the roulette wheel. Learn to play poker.
Being your own boss is capitalism. You're going to have the boss/worker relationship with both liberals and conservatives.

Conservative stands for limited government and government, liberal or conservative, is not your friend if you want to make it on your own.

"Workers United" is, and always has been, a suckers bet.

Thank you for that!

I mean what I said! If that boy thinks that I came from a privileged family, he is dead wrong. My father was a bartender and he hustled golf in West Texas, my Mother was a waitress at the elite country club where my Dad was that bartender. They worked their butts off for me, and they were so proud of me. My father died before I graduated from college. My mother was there when I graduated from medical school. She was so proud that I would be a doctor, and she told me, "your father is watching you today, and he is so proud. I know, I feel him". I know that she did.

My Daddy died just before I graduated from undergrad, He had a stroke, then a heart attack, The man was my hero, and will always was my hero. Shortly after he died, I discoverd he had been awarded 2, count them 2, Silver stars in combat in WWII. He was a 101st Airborne paratrooper. He was D-day minus one. He was always the MAN that was my hero. When I went to Viet Nam I went as a 101st Airborne Ranger, because of my Dad. I came home 2 years behind the medical school class. My dad said, "adapt, and overcome. You are a Ranger, you can do anything that God let's you do, and He will let you do this".

Odds were always against me, because of my service but I worked harder than anyone in that class to get into medical school. I finally made it, last seat in the class, three board orals, and more anguish than any man should take, but I made it, and I kept it and I graduated at the top of that class. Thanks to my Father and my Mother, and the 101st Airborne.

My child wanted to join the Marines when he was in College during Gulf 1, and I said NO, I'm a hypocrite but I still have my son. Am I ashamed? No I'm not. I'll be a hypocrite, if it keeps my son near me the rest of my life. And I'll always have my son and my grand children. I'm a terrible example of an American hero, but I'm also a father, and a grandfather. Sorry for the hypocrisy, it's embedded. I can't let him go, take me instead, I've got experience and I'd be better dying than living. He'd be better living than dying.

Well I know the soon to be founders of the socialist Monthly Review had important positions in the government. HUAC hearings in the 1950s connected a lot of the dots you're talking about.

One thing I am curious about - Labor in England nationalized the "command heights" of the economy in the 1940s. The communist party was the largest political party in France into 1956, and was in De Gaulle's government. The communists almost won the election in Italy all the way into 1976, and formed a government. I suppose I look at Roosevelt and co. through the prism of relativety to what was going on in Western (not Eastern) Europe after World War II.

This site is for CONSERVATIVES; that's it. Go read the front page, if you don't believe me. That's Jim talking there, not me.

You want to talk to stinking MARXISTS? Go do so on some other site, which "welcomes" all.

There are so many divergent views on FR, that it doesn't need an "I HATE CAPITALIST", self proclaimed Commie, for "spice" and/or contrary views.

If you don't want to be seen as a "touchy-feely"jerk; don't post like one.

His moronic views don't phase me in the least! I argued/debated with RED DIAPER BABIES in Greenwich Village, when I was 22 and won. I've debated with actual, born in Commie countries COMMIES and broke them. There isn't a thing he or you can post, which will shake my conviction/positions.

Just to throw some lighter fluid on the class warfare fire, below is the second or third home beach hideaway in La Jolla of one of the largest Dem contributors in the United States,a good fried of the Clintons, and Michael Jackson. It sits on a bluff over the Pacific. It is about 25,000 square feet on five acres. Frankly, it is the most magnificent home I have ever laid eyes on. It is guarded with armed humans and canines (presumably unarmed) 24/7, and when you touch off the security system, the place is bathed in bright lights, all of it. As a lagniappe, the owner of the pied a terre has tried to curb Michael Jackson's spending habits, without success. I guess he is a fiscal conservative, except that his ex wife cost him a bundle, and she wants more, much more.

Of course you have went the militant route, and showing him that while we proclaim to not be like DU, we are more like them then we admit. Thanks, dear.

Just about the only things you need to remember here at FR is not to swear and remember to feed the f*cking bunnies.

Try not to sweat your issues with DU....FR and DU aren't equals though they are often pitted as such.  I'm not saying that one's inherently better than the other, just that they were started under different circumstances, by very different people and for somewhat different purposes.

Maybe you should start a Greens Board.  You sound smart enough so all you'd need is the dedication.

Just take what you like about DU and what you like about FR - only paint the ground rules GREEN - and go for it.

It would probably be a good board.

OMG........I'm proud and honored to be on this site with you! That one lone BRAVO wasn't nearly enough. You are a remarkable man, you come from a great family, and your are a WONDERFUL father and grandfather; no matter the name you called yourself.

This is what America really IS all about and why you and I are Conservatives and why the little boy lost n00b is sadly beyond hope. He hasn't the intelligence, grit, and guts. All he has is a me, me, me, ME attitude, which makes him a nasty, stupid, hate filled snot.
