I expect respect for all religions, Islam as well as my own. With Freedon of speech comes responsibility. The publishing of those cartoons was disrespectful, irresponsible and stupid.

That said, the Muslim reaction, is way out of proportion and far worse than the offenisve nature of the original cartoons.

I have spoken out when Jesus has been disrespected. That too is wrong. Just because you CAN say something doesn't mean you should. ALL religions should be respected whether we like them or not.

And No christians don't threaten death when Jesus is disrespected. I condemn the Muslims for their response and so does the author.

But that is not how Muslims think. They demand nothing less than a world-wide caliphate. They think they have an inherent right to rule over every single country. They do not see themselves as "guests," they see themselves as eventual rulers.
