WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, a potential presidential contender in 2008, "seems to have a lot of anger" and voters usually do not send angry candidates to the White House, the Republican Party chairman said Sunday.
"When you think of the level of anger, I'm not sure it's what Americans want," said Ken Mehlman, head of the Republican National Committee.
Mehlman cited the New York senator's remarks on Martin Luther King Day in which she called the Bush administration "one of the worst" in history and compared the Republican-controlled House to a plantation where opposing voices are silenced.
"I don't think the American people, if you look historically, elect angry candidates. And whether it's the comments about the plantation or the worst administration in history, Hillary Clinton seems to have a lot of anger," Mehlman told ABC's "This Week."
As far as the Republican strategy for 2008, Mehlman said: "We're going to focus on who our candidate's going to be who's going to win."
Not only will she not react well to electoral pressure, when she is in the complete limelight the media won't be able to protect her with sound bites. Many more people will be viewing entire speeches which will illustrate all of her worst traits - anger, boringness, ugliness, etc.

She may not be light on her feet but being bottom heavy, she has a tendency to get right back up when she falls - just like a weeble. "Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down". Or as Bill might lament, "The Weeble wobbles but she won't go down".
Sam, I heartily concur. The clintoons have been out of power for over 5 years. They are out of the loop and out of their minds. They aren't even liked by their own dweebs within "the party". If she wasn't powerful enough to stop the DNC from putting Dean in charge, she can't win more than a few states electorally.
But I don't think she can win their primary, no way. She is completely unelectable for the office of POTUS.

She's a bitter angry woman. Her husband thoroughly humiliated her. "Stand by Your Man" ought to be her theme song, when she runs.
