WASHINGTON (AP) Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, a potential presidential contender in 2008, "seems to have a lot of anger" and voters usually do not send angry candidates to the White House, the Republican Party chairman said Sunday.
"When you think of the level of anger, I'm not sure it's what Americans want," said Ken Mehlman, head of the Republican National Committee.
Mehlman cited the New York senator's remarks on Martin Luther King Day in which she called the Bush administration "one of the worst" in history and compared the Republican-controlled House to a plantation where opposing voices are silenced.
"I don't think the American people, if you look historically, elect angry candidates. And whether it's the comments about the plantation or the worst administration in history, Hillary Clinton seems to have a lot of anger," Mehlman told ABC's "This Week."
As far as the Republican strategy for 2008, Mehlman said: "We're going to focus on who our candidate's going to be who's going to win."
The beast has Muslim type anger problems.
Snicker.
I bet that will make her really mad :)
As long as she doesn't show a lot of ankle, I'm happy.
I don't think we should be letting her know how she comes across; she'll adjust accordingly.
I don't know - it worked for Dean.
Oh, wait....
It should be noted that Shrillary did not run for the senate in either of her "home" states of Michigan or Arkansas. There were only a very small number of states that she could run for senate in and have a shot at winning. New York, Massachusetts, California and maybe Connecticut, New Jersey, Vermont, Maryland or Delaware.
Even if she won all the above states in a presidential contest, she loses 399-139. And that's being very, very optimistic.
It should also be noted that she won the senate seat in New York only because there was no credible opposition (given that Rudy Guliani dropped out). Who was that guy that ran against her, Rick Lazio or something like that? What a joke. If Rudy had stayed in the race, he would have cleaned her clock. I hope he runs against her this year just so we can get her out of the limelight. Not that it matters much to me, because she'll never be president. Never.
"Hillary Clinton seems to have a lot of anger..."
Yeah, so did Hitler, but he was better at rabble-rousing.

Ken, that is the understatement of the past TWO millenniums.
It's akin to saying Genghis Khan could get 'a tad testy'. Or that Pol Pot was at times, 'disagreeable'.
I agree and I've been saying it too. All anyone needs to do is listen to one of her speeches in its entirety. I'm not sure most people could do it.
Whew! Taking no prisioners. Throw in a pseudo husband who best is a used car salesman & a duaghter that you dislike & looks like ole Web. The worst is that 25% of this nation would vote for her.
None of the so called leading Democratic Candidates are. None are doing well with the Democratic base. She has to go radical left to have any hopes of getting the nomination. The truth is the Democratic base loves Dean. She has to roar almost as loud as he does.
Hillary hopes to get the base's support in time to go back to playing moderate before the 2008 election. Fat chance!!

What a surprise, she was wearing a chinese style blouse of some kind.
The woman panders down to her eyelashes.
UGH!
