About 1,000 people gathered in rain-swept Washington, D.C. today at an anti-Bush rally organized by the World Can't Wait, a front group for the Revolutionary Communist Party.
Held on the grounds of the Washington Monument, the rally capped a week of activities by the group demanding President Bush leave office immediately because of their opposition to the Iraq war and other Bush policies.
The organizers planned for a crowd in the tens of thousands, but as the photos below show, they spent a whole lot of money planning for people who never showed.
One woman who did attend the rally made it all worthwhile them, though. She carried a poster that featured a blood-dripping beheaded President Bush.
Your comment is confused.
You say that Kristinn gives these people more publicity than the MSM, and that nobody will know about their little protest...
...but then you say that these people, via their protestations, help our side and that most people have a negative opinion of them.
How can people get a negative opinion of the lefty protesters if fifty out of fifty people (your numbers) don't know about the protest?
If nobody knows about their protests and the kinds of signs they proudly carry, how can those protests and protesters help our side, as you say.
I don't think the MSM photogs at the rally will submit their print of the beheaded Bush photo (or the "911 was an inside job" photo) to their editors, because they want to project the image of a "mainstream" protest.
So, how will the real mainstream Joe and Jane Public know about the beheaded Bush sign then?
MSM will not report it.
And you don't think we should be reporting it, either.
What a stupid talentless broad!
That's Prince Charles....not W!
Don't worry--the CIA and FBI now have her picture, her name, and all her vital stats. She will never again be able to make a phone call that is not monitored. And that's a GOOD THING!
It has finally happened. Liberal left Democrats have finally left the reservation and are now openly running with the enemy.
Where was Cindy? AWOL?? Out on a hot date with Hugo??
Most people will not have known of this protest today. Of those that do, most will have gotten that information in a minute or two of watching the nightly news stations.
The Right has a great tendency to carry this further than it should. Of course people know about these types of protests, but they are not in the forefront of John and Jane Doe's thoughts. They would be totally forgotten about if not for the Right's determination to 'prove the Left wrong'...as opposed to proving Conservatism right. The points I've made are not contradictory. Only your interpretation of them are.
Would like to know where 'hate speech' and 'free speech' meet these days.
As for being off her meds. . .I only wish there was such an easy excuse for her proud display of abysmal ignorance.
She should travel more. . .go to Syria or Iran/Iraq and wear a Burka; where even her smile could not be shared.
Thanks for the pictures...
The one with the poster of Bush's bleeding head...SHOULD be on the covers of the newsmagazines..with a question about the level of rhetoric equaling the "crime"?
Perhaps these women would like to live in a society that would rampage and destroy people and buildings over a cartoon...after all, they are emulating them.
I disagree.
The whole nation should see that picture of the woman proudly displaying her "Beheading of Bush" masterpiece.
Betcha 20 bucks this is the only place that will be seen.
Really? Sharpton was supposed to do?
Hoo-hoooooo....great.
BTW...look for the funeral on Tuesday, which is supposed to be 3 hours, to be MUCH longer.
Remember Rosa Parks' funeral?....The dems used it as a campaign appearance.
Reminds me of an old Beach Boy's Song, "...two heads for every guy..."
What a bunch of twisted satan worshippers!
Go to China you bunch of losers!

The woman with the Beheaded President should've been cuffed and stuffed for promoting the assination of our President. This is NOT free speech! It is pfomoting the murder of someone and that someone is THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED .STATES
BTTT
I just saw the WJLA 7 (local ABC station) news at 11... Of their 30 second report on the Revolutionary Communist Party/World Can't Wait protest, most of it showed a wet and bedraggled gaggle of lefties (some wearing kerchiefs over their faces); and they commented that it was much smaller than the organizers had expected.
Oh, and the reporter led into the end of his report by saying that not everyone agreed with the RCP/WCW protesters and the last five seconds or of the news report showed the Protest Warriors (and Freepers) - with a very clear shot of one of their signs:
So, "if not for the Right's determination to 'prove the Left wrong'," as you say...
...The WJLA news report would only have shown the RCP/WCW protest.
WJLA, to their credit (and thanks to the PWs and Freepers who did go out today), ended that news report on a positive note.
(signing off for the night...)
