Harry Carson should have been elected to the Hall of Fame years ago. He's been so bitter over this that I wouldn't be surprised to see him refuse to attend his own induction ceremony.

I'm trying to remember something, anything Harry Carson did that merits being placed in with Payton, Brown, Butkus, Montana, et al.

Really, is it because he was on national TV every week, and people recognize the name?

Or is it because he has multiple SB rings? Well, so does Sean Landeta, and Elvis 'Toast' Patterson.

He has every right to be bitter but I hope he shows up for his ceremony.

Agreed...I don't think I missed any games that #53 played in. One of the greatest middle linebackers to ever play, I keenly remember how he would meet the ballcarrier head on and stand him up stopping his forward progress.

Back in the '80s I met him several times and he was a most gracious individual. He also had the biggest head I had ever seen...
