"Which one of them is The Prophet?"

Good Question.

For the Shiites its the pseudoman,

For the Sunnis its the donkey.

For Hammas its both, go figure....(LOL)

"When the Tammany Hall boss William Marcy Tweed was being led off to prison in the 19th Century, he placed the blame for his downfall squarely on the brilliant muckraking cartoonist Thomas Nast. 'I can sway the crowds with words and I can buy them with bribes,' Nast said, in a sentiment Al-Queda and Hamas would easily understand today. 'But there's nothing I can do about those little pictures.' "

I resemble that remark!!!!!!!!

This is why we MUST, MUST, MUST, compose and circulate copious cartoons of the "PROPHET" all over the internet. We should e-mail dozens of them to Al Jezeera everyday.

Cartoonists of the WORLD , UNITE and ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK......Prove that the pen is mightier than the Islamofascist Sword!!!!!

"Jihad! Did France surrender yet?"

Ah, no, but Dr Rice's US State Dept did, apparently, as its official spokesman says it's all the fault of the eeeevil cartoonists.

Nice to know they share the arsonists analysis !

"Look for France & Denmark to offer their Jews as reparations."

Thanks, Johnny, for this brainless, heartless and gutless comment.

Apparently the opinion that reparations are in order is definitely held in the United States ' State Department. Nice to know where the SecState stannds on this issue...

I can't figure out what this is about. The cartoons were published in SEPTEMBER. Why the rage NOW?

It just took that long for some of the dimwits to figure out they were supposed to be enraged about something.

"...wild accusations of the President and his administration based on incorrect data are characteristics of the left........NOT FR..."

I agree. We expect that from DU, the Daily Kos, and from Buchananites, not FR.

Unfortunately, certain freepers continue to disappoint.....

The Washington Times published a corrective article, clarifying what the State Department really said, and what the administration's position is, and it isn't even close to the hysterical presumptions made on this thread.

A modicum of logic and common sense would have told you that, but it obviously flew right over the heads of a few of 'us' who would apparently rather trust a lefitst AP article than trust the integrity of the President.

THIS is President Bush's position on the bombings.

Any accusation that he sided with the terrorists in this is a flat out lie.

It has nothing to do with 'comprehending' your silly words, JABBERBONK. And it has nothing to do with stupid accusations that I would support President Bush if he torched cars. It has EVERYTHING to do with telling the TRUTH.

Some of you need to learn what that is.

In case you're not smart enough to follow the link..........this is the first paragraph....

"The United States condemns in the strongest terms the burning of the Danish and Norwegian Embassies in Damascus, Syria today, which also damaged the Chilean and Swedish Embassies. The Government of Syria's failure to provide protection to diplomatic premises, in the face of warnings that violence was planned, is inexcusable."

Get it???

Now stop your idiotic false accusations.

THIS is President Bush's position on the bombings.

That's very nice W-fan. The administration is against burning down embassies.

Now back to the subject at hand, which isn't the fire-bombings of today or yesterday, but how the administration's came down on the issue of publishing of the cartoons.

So...once again, What did they say about the publishing of the cartoons on Friday?

Again, let us know when you've finished reading the State Dept. transcript. The one in which Bush and Co. side with the Islamic world against Western freedom and come down clearly against publishing the cartoons.

Nice try, however clumsy, at changing the subject.

Definitely not one of this administration's better moments. Rather wretched actually.

The UK hasn't published these cartoons yet.
They should.
So should US newspapers.
Declining to do so is in essence agreeing that Sharia law extends into western democracies.

Nail-on-the-head bump

I checked the State Department website and there was no statement on the cartoons. I asked you for a link, but you refused to give me one. I would still appreciate the link, since you said it supported your contention that President Bush supported muslim violence in response to the cartoons.

btw, did you see the Washington Times article I pinged you to? The one where it said the State Department supported the freedom of the press..............a convenient omission in the AP story that YOU linked?

No matter what you say and how you try to twist and turn, this administration did NOT come down on the side of the violence in response to the cartoons.

You made a huge leap out of the realm of reality, and it's really clumsy of you not to admit it.

Provide the link, please. Your reference didn't support any such statement............and I've said from the beginning that I would be interested in reading the complete statement, since the leftist media...........not unlike you..........is heavily biased against the President.

btw, I note some significant backtracking today on what you said yesterday. Having second thoughts about your foolish hyperbole, are you?
